Best phô - Edit
This place is amazing! It is run by a middle aged lady and there is no menu. I tried cao lâc and a phô. The noodles used in cao lâc was pre-marinated and full of flavors; while the phô I had was the best one I had in my life - the broth was very clear and savory-sweet, she also serve some green papayas which is perfect for the phô.

Say sign off the street, doesn't look open anymore - Edit
I strolled past looking for it and saw a sign sitting off the street, hidden away which looked like it hadn't been used for some time. Owners might be on holiday?

Great local spot - Edit
This is a really great local spot, limited opening hours, I believe the owner opens it only of a morning. You will see the sign on the street and it looks like a little alleyway from the outside and has little tables and red stools. I had the noodle soup with some Vietnamese friends who enjoy eating here. It was great and had lots of greens. The tofu was flavoured like ham. I really enjoyed the broth, it was yummy. Definitely recommend checking it out if you want to try a place with a local feel and good price.

Delicious ! - Edit
I had the very flavourful noodle soup which is ideal for an early morning breakfast, and at 20,000 VND is inexpensive to get you going from the off. Not too many early in the morning, but what you might have trouble with is finding where to consume the lovely noodle soup. The simplest way - in my view - is to approach from Hai Bà Trưng, then turn right at Phan Chu Trinh. Look for the sign on the northern side of the road. The place is located down the side of a building, and is also really close to Bánh MÌ Chay (another tasty vegan spot).

Happy accident - Edit
I stumbled upon this eatery early this morning as I was wandering the streets of Hoi An. It was a cool find. It is *very* small—just a couple small tables in a back alley. They only serve two dishes to my knowledge: a noodle soup and a dry noodle dish. I had the noodle soup, which was very good and only 15k dong.
