Family-run vegetarian eatery where you order a la carte or choose from buffet of different veggies and soy meat dishes, rice, and noodle dishes. Located in small alley in old town that is difficult to find - it's between Le Loi and Hai Ba Trung: take the alley mid-block to the south, toward the river, from Phan Chu Trinh for 30 meters and find the restaurant on the right. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-9:00pm. Last order 8.30PM.

We enjoyed it - Edit
My partner got a second bowl of soup after his first and some “chicken wings”. Pretty good and cheap. They also have fresh coconuts.

Overrated - Edit
We took the buffet 3 times and every time we paid a different price (55-80k d), but had roughly the same amount of food. The food was very fatty and I think it was not worth the price.

Affordable and Friendly - Edit
Staff were very friendly and the man spoke amazing English like it was his first language. Dishes were very cheap and it felt cleaner than we expected. Dish wasn't the best we've had.

Vegan buffet-style - Edit
Nice vegan options, always fresh refilled.
Read moreThey have some mock-meat.
Food definitely 5 stars.
Minus 1 star because of vague prices, felt like western tourists paid some dong more than others. Food was perfect though.

100% vegan delicious food - Edit
Large selection of 100% vegan food, price depends on how much you choose which, however, makes the prices not comprehensible. We paid tourist prices (more than locals around us). Anyways, prices still low for good food.

So good!! No MSG, No recycled oils! - Edit
Cool, understated place with a wide choice of excellent only vegan food. We had a nice chat with some random guy about veganism and agriculture, who turned out to be the owner! LOL The fact that this is the go to restaurant for local vegans speaks more for it than any review.

Nice for filling luch - Edit
I tried the rice with buffée options and it cost 40 000. I really enjoined it, also I do not mind trying out different mock meats. Which were really nicely textures and seasoned here. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that the buffée area wasn't covered as it was shown in earlier pictures. They also have small menu with some local dishes.

Great Food, Easy on the Wallet - Edit
This place is a treasure. Tucked away in a quiet alley near Phin Coffee (vegan specialties), Quan Chay Dam offered an amazing variety of vegan specialties for dining in or take away. The pho was the freshest I’ve ever had. And since I couldn’t decide on one main dish, I had her fill up a separate container with a little of everything. Total cost for both? USD 3. There was a steady stream of motorbike delivery people picking up take away bags at dinner time, so clearly popular with the locals.

Cheap and Delicious - Edit
Can’t even express how happy I was to find this place. It was tough to find and my GPS lead me in the wrong direction. With the help of some locals I was able to find it. It’s small, unpretentious, cheap and delicious.

food for vegan cheapos - Edit
I found this while looking for Buttercup by Rosies. (This was actually more impressive.) If you want to eat for around 15k to 25k, this is the place. There is a lot of mock meats, but not everything is. Very typical of cheap vegan buffets found around Asia. If you take to go, bring your own to-go containers because they only have styrofoam. Plays SupremeMaster TV so you know it's real.

So cheap, great variety - Edit
I love a buffet, and this one didn't disappoint. Great variety in the tasty foods, and super cheap. Is a bit hard to work out what to do, but just sit at a table and let the server come to you, before deciding on how big of a plate you want. I think I went for the middle size, but a larger one would have been good.

Nice place - Edit
Nice little restaurant hidden in a small street. Their buffet is pretty big can go up to 60.000 dong for a rice meal though.
Read moreI tried the Pho which was really good but nothing outstanding. The portions are a little small but the soup is also only 20.000 dong, so that’s reasonable.
Staff wasn’t that friendly but lots of people come around so the atmosphere is kinda nice (:
Pros: One of the very few 100% vegan restaurants, Can be very cheap, Big buffet you can choose your topics from

Delicious Buffet and made-to-order dishes - Edit
This is my favourite restaurant in Hoi An because you can choose exactly what you want and how much of it. The buffet is always fresh although sometimes the food is not super hot. You can get some rice and then choose whatever you like from the buffet to go with it. Then they give you a price based on how much food you got, between 25000 and 45000 dong per plate.
Read moreThey usually have fresh green veg, tofu, aubergine in oil and spring rolls....you have to go check it out to find out what's available on the day though!
On the set menu they have local specialty cao lao as well as Vietnamese staple pho - they come with a lot of fake meat which I'm not so keen on but otherwise delicious. My favourite from the set menu is probably banh bao - steamed buns stuffed with vegetables - only 12000 dong😉
They have a water refill station and free hot green tea. The tables are comfy and it's a nice atmosphere, though the TV is sometimes a bit loud- but they are always playing a pro-vegan channel which is quite interesting!
Pros: Buffet, comfortable atmosphere, great value
Cons: They don't sell coffee...not really a 'con' ;)

Lovely family run restaurant - Edit
Super lovely place tucked down the back streets of Hoi An. We visited this place twice during our time here. Staff are super friendly - especially the older Vietnamese man... I think he owns the place, super chatty! Lots of mock meat and you can either order off of their menu or choose yourself from their vegan buffet - which tends to be cold but super tasty nonetheless. Seems as though this place is super popular with the locals too!

Thanks to this app I found this place, mixture of locals and veggie tourists. I believe there is an option to fill your plate buffet style, but I decided to get the vegan cao lau as I wanted to try a local food that isn’t usually vegan. Very delicious and filling, good prices too!!

Great price - Edit
I’ve been here twice and will definitely be going back. First time I tried the buffet and got a large plate for 50,000 which seems to be expensive after reading the comments, I reckon they charge tourists more maybe. I won’t be getting the buffet again mainly because the food was cold. The dumplings (12k) very tasty but cold, the hamburger (10k) is nice although bit greasy? The bread is slightly sweet. I ordered pho from the menu second time and it was hot and tasty. I’d recommend just ordering from the menu. Amazing prices and you can eat a lot for a low price compared to other restaurants. The service is quick but the staff aren’t the friendliest and English is good.
