Pretty good food in a quaint little place - Edit
Edit: We had the chance to visit during the buffet they hold every first and 15th day of the lunar calendar. That experience was amazing! 🙏

We had a nice dinner at this place. Nothing duper fancy, but good vietnamese local food.
The service was friendly, although it was really slow.
The place itself is in an alley, but the decor is pretty and relaxing.
It is a decent spot to have a fairly priced meal in Hue.
8/10, would recommend. 👍

Kind staff and delicious food - Edit
The food we tried was absolutely delicious. We specially enjoyed the seaweed soup!! The have a nice courtyard. The menu is not very big.

We had the rice noodles (cold) with fried spring rolls, the fresh spring rolls, and the vegan spaghetti (with a tomato & tofu sauce). Everything was really delicious.

On s'est donc regardé manger les uns après les autres...
Le ché vietnamien est délicieux, servi avec un thé au jasmin très délicat.
Bref petite adresse assez bonne mais mieux vaut y aller seul/e ou à deux sinon trop d'attente...
Dommage, la serveuse est vraiment discrète, j'ai même cru au début qu'elle était muette.

To be honest I do not understand the hype about this place. One of pur worst meals in Vietnam so far.
Read moreWe ordered four plates; the seaweed soup, the macrobiotic rice, the rice cakes and fried spring rolls. All of them were insufficient, and the noodles in the soup were too soft and bland. I came at 20.00 just before the new year, and there was no buffet.

Arrived late on a rainy evening and the lady still run the kitchen to give me some of the most delicious dishes I had so far in Vietnam. I did need some of her help in order to figure out how to roll my own spring rolls.

A small venue hidden down an alley way, offering a selection of vegan meals for a very affordable price. Waitress was friendly and food was pretty good, especially for the price. Buffets are offered on the 1st and 15th day of the Luna calendar.

This venue has a good range of meals. The prices are on the low side, but that's because the portions are also a bit small. My three course dinner left me hungry. There's also a distinct lack of serious protein; a couple of bits of watery tofu and some slices of a vegan sausage are not really filling! Compared to the massive bowls being eaten all around Vietnam, this place just doesn't impress.

This is a very simple looking place with little wooden tables and chairs and not much in the way of lighting etc, but the food is so good, tasty, filling and our family of 5 ate well for under $25 AUD.

Venue is now a buffet, and appears to have no option of ordering a la carte. We arrived just after 7. Half the dishes were empty. I put a few of the remaining options on my plate. They were stone cold, and not the kinds of foods that taste good cold (e.g fried rice, stir fried vegetables). After tasting what was on my plate, and my partner doing the same, we agreed it was better to just pay and leave for a better venue than to try to force that down

Sweet restaurant open 24/7 - Edit
The food was decent. I tried some spring rolls which were very oily. The on the other hand the kim bap were good. I also tried the fried banh loc which reminded me of sushi but with a different rice. The meals were served with this sweet chili and mayo sauce, which is nice, but soy sauce is available at each table as well.

Definitely try it out. Everything freshly prepared, very tasty and unbeatable value. The staff unfortunately does not speak English but we understood each other with the help of translation app. Tea and dessert were free of charge.

DELICIOUS simple vegan food. Even my wife (who is normally a T-Rex loved it). So good we returned for our 2nd (& last) night in Hue. Lovely lovely lady & ?daughter cooking & serving food.
