Great wee shop - Edit
Visited the first time last week and glad I did. Was able to get several vegan cheeses I'd never seen before (different brands), plus other chill items I don't see at home.
Read moreIt's a small shop but they pack a lot in, so it has all the usual things you'd find in a health and wholefood shop, plus supplements for various ailments and conditions.
Was about 10 mins walk back to Glasgow Central Station.
Pros: Good range, Vegan chill products

Secretly a sweet shop! - Edit
So good for finding the most exciting vegan sweets, dry store foods, dairy replacements and snacks. They have a huge range of chocolate and tend to source things before anywhere else. Really lovely people too.

Best Health Shop - Edit
Great advice and easy online ordering - over the phone or through website.
Read moreDue to the cancer medication I am on, as well as going through menopause - I have quite specific and complex requirements - so it was a relief that the friendly and knowledgeable staff understood what I could and couldn't take to improve my health and even recommended 'easy to swollow' alternatives. Thank you :-)
Pros: Great advice, Competitive prices, Fast delivery

Excellent knowledgeable staff - Edit
I’ve been buying stuff from here for many years and decided it was time that I wrote a review.
Read moreThe shop has a fantastic range of products and most of them are vegan. The staff know about everything that they sell and offer great advice, this is excellent for anyone with any allergy. We were there on Christmas Eve and were told that everything in the fridge was vegan which made choosing so easy, or so difficult as there was so much to choose from.
It is really good to go to an independent shop and be able to buy good quality vegan and vegetarian products at fair prices.
They are also able to offer advice about the various herbal remedies that they stock.
I would recommend this shop to anyone who lives near Glasgow.
Pros: Great staff, Good range of products, City Centre Location close to bus stops

Best shop in the city centre, by a margin - Edit
This is one of the greatest shops in Glasgow: The selection of vegan items is huge, be it chocolate, drinks, cheeses, faux meats, syrups, teas, sauces, cooking ingredients or whatever you can think of.
Read moreThe owners are extremely friendly as well and it is a joy to go shopping here. Prices are not as high as you would expect them to be for such a tiny organic store right in the city centre. Definitely check this out when in Glasgow!
Pros: Great shop, Lovely owners, Huge selection of all kinds of vegan items

Best foodstore in Glasgow City Centre - Edit
Don't be put off by the daft name of this shop. It would probably attract more busines if it had a catchier sign above the door. Good range of producrs and if they don't have it, they will get it in for you.

Fresh pastry’s - Edit
This is a great little shop for vegans, it had a selection of chocolates, crisps and sweets, a fridge section with ‘meats’ and ‘cheeses’, a variety of plant milks, toiletries and best of all every Thursday morning they sell a selection of vegan pastry’s. The staff were super lovely and helpful. It was a little expensive but that’s to be expected from a small independent specialist store like this
Read morePros: Vegan pastry’s for only £1.55, Lots of selection, Friendly and informative staff
Cons: Bit expensive

Only place for special stuff! - Edit
Only place I know of in Glasgow where I can get the best vegan foods under one roof, such as Follow Your Heart Veganaise (and Sriracha), Vego bars, Sgaia Mheat, Cool Jerk pies, Nutcrafter cheese and a host of other great stuff.
Read moreThere are a few negatives - it's tremendously overpriced and some items are cheaper elsewhere. I also find the woman with the red hair who works there a bit irritating - she constantly asks me if I need help/tries to suggest items to buy a few seconds after I enter and despite me saying no every time (20-odd times if I had to guess) she is unrelenting.
Pros: Great range of produce, City centre location
Cons: Overpriced

Having been vegan for several years, I can't believe I've only just discovered this shop! There's a fantastic range of vegan cheeses and meat substitutes like Tofurky, as well as the basics like a good range of plant milks. Best of all, if your a vegan with a sweet tooth, they have a great range of vegan chocolates, sweets and biscuits :-)

Fantastic shop - support your independent traders! - Edit
18/11/16 - Updating this as I'd planned to write a review and forgotten I'd already written one years ago! It's been consistently good and there is always a new brand of chocolate or savoury snack available every time I go in. I can't remember a time I didn't shop there; if there is any dairyfree or meatfree product you're searching for always try here first. They manage to fit a lot into a small space. They take credit cards, which is both a blessing and a curse! They sell the Caramelised Onion and the Wensleydale and Cranberry 'Gary' cheeze only in the Sheese packet rather than Sainsburys so worth a stop for that if you've yet to track it down.
Read moreI love this shop, the staff are so helpful and it's a dream to list off a load of vegan items only available in London or online and they'll try and get it in for you. They always hav a superb range of vegan meats and cheeses, but also lots of organic items, gluten-free, and various pulses and sauces. If you miss Grassroots, this is only a 5 minute walk away, and no meats! They also sell make up and cosmetics.

Top Class - Edit
Not only does this store have a fantastic range of vegan goodies, but the staff are so friendly and knowledgable about the products. They have Nutcrafter and Vegusto (the holy grail of vegan cheeses), lots of Tofurky, various tofu brands, Sgaia meats, coconut yogurts... not to mention the fantastic chocolate range and dried goods. They stock many local artisan Scottish vegan goodies from brands like Almighty Foods (you NEED to try their chocolate). They will even order products in for you if you let them know what you need.

Great shop, great people! - Edit
Since I fell in love with Vegusto cheese last year, I search for stores which sell this amazing brand. Quality Vitamins and Herbs was the store in Glasgow. Besides Vegusto, I was so pleasantly surprised with all the other amazing items they had in store. Vegan sausages, hotdogs, chocolate and other many many vegan essentials. I wish I could have bought the whole store. Staff were very friendly and informative as well. I will definitely be back - not any time soon, but it is a good goal to save up for!!! (I also love Glasgow and all of its vegan gems!)

Quality- and far more than vitamins and herbs - Edit
This is a little organic gem; the shop looks small but is really well stocked with a good range of products. They sell a huge range of "alternate milks" (many at special price market packs so you can try a good range easily).
Read moreThey have a large fridge which has vegetarian and vegan stock (tofu, vegan cheeses and yoghurts). Their selection of cosmetics, vitamins and health related items is vast; floor to ceiling goodness! They sell organic aloe vera gel, which is the only place in Glasgow I have seen it.
The chocolate range is enormous for a small store, Montezumas, Plamil and vegan jelly bears are available. They often have things out on the counter to try too.
The staff are really helpful and will give advice about any of the vitamins etc in the store, and are happy to order things in on request (I asked about a particular type of chocolate and it was there the next time I was in).
The shop is just off the bus Sauchiehall Street, relatively easy to miss but well worth finding.
Pros: vegan chocolate range, large selection of tofu products, organic health and beauty goods
