Options lacking- but good at what they do - Edit
My wonderful waitress edited by hand a menu to review for me although I had specified on my reservation that I’d be eating vegan.

I’ve been here before and had the pumpkin curry but wasn’t enthused the first time. After we reviewed our edited vegan menu I found that the options were not vast and again I went with the pumpkin curry but asked them to spice it up a bit to add some oomph and flavor. It was much better this way but still needed something which is when I asked for soy sauce - this is what took it over the top.
Finished off my evening with their homemade ice cream. The best ice cream I’ve ever had by far.

They messed up… - Edit
We asked what was vegan and they listed four items. We said we’d take it all.
Read moreTurns out one of the items had fish chunks. Not just sauce, a real big piece.
I get that mistakes happen, but when you order “everything vegan you have,” that mistake is pretty hard to justify.
They didn’t seem to care much, they gave a little apology but didn’t comp or discount our meal at all. I feel like some larger gesture of apology was due. I get that mistakes happen but please don’t ask like it’s not a big deal!
The food we did eat was yummy so I’m sad I haven’t found the stomach to return.

One of the best meals of our life - Edit
This was one of the best meals of our life! This place is gorgeous and perfect for a romantic date. We sat inside but the patio outside would be amazing on a summer night.

Then we shared the pumpkin curry with cauliflower, tofu, eggplant and brussels sprouts. It was served with jazminne rice for $24. I wish I had the recipe!
For dessert we had the mango sticky rice $10 and the coconut ice cream $8. They go perfectly together!
The service was perfect. Our water glass never got less than half full before it was filled again. Every single person we spoke to was beyond helpful and friendly. Our server marked everything that could be made vegan and we had a lot of choices.
The total bill came to $64 plus tip. That was very reasonable considering the quality.
We wish we could go back but they are booked solid for the rest of our visit to Pittsburgh. Be sure to reserve at least a week in advance.
Pros: Perfectly spiced, Amazing service, Romantic ambiance
Cons: Need to reserve far in advance.

Upscale Thai in Lawrenceville - Edit
The food here is excellent. The atmosphere wonderful. The staff work very hard. If you can, eat in the courtyard on a summer afternoon. The staff was also very knowledgeable of the menu and was easily able to meet our dietary requirements without even a hesitation.
