Really disappointed - Edit
The first time I went to Purple Patch I thought it was really good. The second time I went, there was shrimp hiding underneath my fried rice. I’m allergic to shellfish. When I called the waiter over and said “there’s shrimp in this” he said “no there isn’t.” Once he looked at it, obviously he was wrong. He and the management barely apologized and begged me to accept a free dessert as compensation. I told him I really didn’t want any dessert (for obvious reasons - all had dairy.) Finally they agreed to comp the meal, very reluctantly, and it made me feel like they didn’t care at all and I was the one being difficult. Really frustrating experience.

The Laing with fried tofu on top was soooooo delicious. Pancit canton was yummy too but not as much flavor. Really cute atmosphere

One page of the menu is dedicated to veggie meals that you can add tofu to. The pineapple fried rice w/ tofu is amazing!!

Very good for lacto/ovo vegeterians. - Edit
For vegans i would say there isnt a HUGE selection for breakfast. just four options for vegan and all of them savory. i personally love SWEET vegan breakfast and they had nothing. So if you dont mind only salty vegan breakfast like tofu hash or fried eggplant then this is for you. they did feel bad that they didnt have any sweet vegan options so they gave me a free drink on the house called the sweet drink. very good sweet soda.

Cons: Not a lot of vegan options, only vegan breakfast savory options, not any sweet vegan brunch options

Amazing vegan options - Edit
I took my parents here and we all loved it! My dad tried the chicken adobo and the fried eggplant adobo, and said the fried eggplant adobo was better! The fried eggplant adobo had such an amazing flavor and the fried tofu was equally as delicious. The ambiance is also very nice and they have lots of outdoor seating. Lots of options for my gf/vegetarian roommate as well. Will definitely be coming here lots!

Delicious and unique - Edit
We got the cauliflower happy hour appetizer with papaya salad (which was especially good!) and the calamansi tofu with pineapple fried rice. It’s a big enough portion for two and absolutely delicious!

Vegan friendly Filipino food - Edit
Lots of good options here and tasty food. I REALLY wish all drinks didn’t come in plastic cups though. So frustrating and unnecessary. Still, highly recommend the dishes we got
