This place is the perfect place for a treat in my opinion. Slightly on the more expensive side for a bigger shop, but the quality is reflected in this. Stocking vegan sushi, cheese, organic vegetables and more, it’s a gem of a place.

I *live* in this place - it's my Supermarket. Yes, it's a bit pricey - but it's an independent store, stocking hard-to-find vegan food - which is expensive everywhere. They're pioneering ideas like a refill station and they're lovely people to boot. To those on here who are complaining that it's too expensive, a simple solution is to sign up for an independent Liverpool card and use it every time you buy for a 10% discount on purchases over £20 - you'll save the price of your monthly independent Liverpool subscription every time you shop. Problem solved ;-)

Amazing shop loads of choice and items you can't easily get hold of elsewhere. Great for store cupboard items (tins, sauces, pasta, pulses etc) and fabulous selection of fresh (veg, cheeses, hummus, bread, cakes, deli etc) as well as fantastic frozen selection. Great selection of snacks and chocolate as well as household cleaning, toiletries and oils. This shop is an absolute gem and the staff are so lovely too.

If this was due to the cost of manufacturing then fair play. But I noticed a lot of products in the store that you can get a lot cheaper in superstores. I was a bit gutted with that to be honest.

In regards to your comment on pricing we only ever mark up the prices from the wholesaler by 25% which is the minimum margin we can work by to survive. Unfortunately some vegan products are quite expensive to buy and we endeavour to be as competitive as possible with larger stores that can buy in larger quantities at cheaper prices. To counter this you may have noticed that we sell a lot of organic staples at pretty much the price we buy in at. This is to ensure that staples to make wholesome healthy vegan meals are affordable to all. We are also in the process of acquiring a zero waste section which will also bring down the cost of staple foods. We also give a 10% discount to customers who carry an independent Liverpool card. As a small independent we endeavour to be competitive and although inevitably some items are more expensive than we’d like we are doing all we can to counter that. Absolutely adore this little vegan palace. They have absolutely everything and the best cakes and vegan sushi around. The prices are very good and they have a lot of products available if you are on a budget. Organic canned staples such as beans, chick peas and tomatoes are only 55p. If you are in Liverpool make sure you give this place a visit.
