Got a calzone stuffed with vegan cheese, olives, vegan sausage and pepperoni. It was tasty but didn’t blow me away. I liked how they had quite a few options. Honestly, be cautious if you come here at night. We had an individual come in and threaten the staff and scream at them, they said this happens A LOT. I wouldn’t let that deter you but more so an awareness to be cautious! The food took a long time to come but it had a good vibe until that weird incident.

Their Gordon Bombay is my favorite. Vegan pepperoni, white reaper, and Pineapple Express are also so so good. I buy a bottle of their vegan ranch when I get the chance. It’s good.

They have great pizza but my favorite is definitely the vegan deep dish. I highly suggest getting it with pineapple and jalapenos. And I love that they have Vegan pizzas you can order by the slice at all times.

I got the white reaper and the Pineapple Express! I love how they have an entire section of unique vegan pizzas and they were pretty good but SUPER expensive and I don’t know if it’s worth going a lot. However, the chipotle aioli base on the Pineapple Express is really good, if that’s what I was tasting? I feel like they need MORE of it thooo. I only got a taste of it towards the end of my pizza. And that’s definitely the best part! Appreciated the creativity with the vegan pizzas they offered! The white reaper has a SUPER interesting taste. I think they were going for the less is more approach.

I have gone to this restaurant many times they constantly get my order wrong this time they gave me dairy when I am vegan and specifically asked for vegan items they do not care when I spoke to the manager he said yeah it’s been happening a lot customer calling and saying they got their order wrong nothing is being done to change it if you are Vegan do not go here!

The Best Vegan Pizza - Edit
This is hands down the best vegan pizza I’ve had anywhere. So often vegan pizzas are wet and mushy, and the cheese is just so-so. These pizzas were fresh and crispy and full of flavor. We had the White Reaper and the Vegan and Sara. With such a large vegan menu, it’s a real shame HC won’t let me give five stars.

I never thought I’d have vegan deep dish unless I made it at home! My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary. I knew deep dish usually takes about 45 minutes to make but we were starving so we decided to order the buffalo cauliflower wings while we waited and they were the best we’ve tried in LA! The pizza was incredible but man you gotta try those wings! I can not wait to go back and try their vegan white pizza.

Some of the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. I miss a good cheese pizza every now and then, one that’s not overloaded with other toppings and man did this deliver. Classic flavors and even had Parmesan. Will be dreaming about this pizza. Also got the buffo cauliflower pizza with vegan ranch and it was out of this world good.

I decided to come here after seeing all the raving reviews and photos on Instagram. I ordered the deep dish and we waited about 45 mins (which is average for deep dish). We were excited when it arrived and immediately disappointed with the taste and quality. Everything on the pizza was sliding off and it just wasn't that great. Tasted a bit watery somehow. Maybe I'll try the regular pizzas next time, and will definitely stick to Masa of Echo Park for my vegan deep dish.

Purgatory pizza is an absolute must! They have a large vegan menu. It is a fun atmosphere with great decor. The servers were very friendly and the service with quick, despite it being a busy Saturday night! Now let’s get down to the food! I ordered the vegan Alfredo, also got try the barbecue pizza and garlic knots! The Alfredo was very creamy, I was actually surprised how creamy it was! It was very delicious! The garlic knots were also very good, just the right amount of garlic and the bread was on point in texture and flavor. My absolute favorite there, so far, was the Thor’s barbecue pizza! It was hands-down the very best barbecue chicken pizza I’ve ever had! They topped it off with ranch drizzle on top. Get yourself down to Purgatory Pizza! You will not regret it.
