Expensive but worth a visit - Edit
Yes, this place is pricey, think double the price of a normal vegan meal out in Taipei. But eating here as a treat is definitely worth it. It’s located on the second floor inside the mall. The food is incredible, the tea is free flowing and the service is great. It’s definitely a place you’d want to save for a treat.

Yummy, but too expensive - Edit
The food tastes good and the restaurant interior is beautiful, but the prices are outrageous at $150-200 per dim sum and up to $600 per main. Would go elsewhere for Taiwanese food of similar quality at lower prices!

Not found - Edit
Could not find the place. When switching from the Happy Cow app to Google Maps the exact GPS coordinate is fed to Google Maps. This led me to a central square, not to a restaurant. In fact, I could not see a restaurant anywhere!

High class vegan Chinese Restaurant - Edit

Read moreOriginally from Hong Kong, Pure Veggie House is a relatively high end vegan Chinese restaurant located near Taipei 101. Here you can find dim sum (at lunch time until 3:30pm) and classic Chinese style dishes.
One of the best dishes here is the shredded turnip puff. The turnip is cut into thin strips and cooked in a slightly sweet sauce. The outside pastry is thin, light and flaky. Very well made.
The atmosphere is modern and high end. The sofa is also comfortable, perfect for resting after a day of touring around Taipei.
Pros: All vegan Chinsese restaurant, Good food especially the shreded turnip puff
Cons: A bit pricey and small portions

Next level vegan food!
Read moreThe algae salad was amazing, the truffle dim sum as good as it gets. So many options. Despite being in a mall it feels very cozy and quiet; nice classical background music. Very friendly staff.
Pros: All vegan, Traditional dishes made vegan, Very quick service
Cons: On the more expensive side
