I literally just finished my food from here and had to leave a review. This was my first time eating here and I got the BBQ jackfruit sandwich and oh my goodness, it was so delicious! The best I've ever had! They have so many options on their menu and it all looks amazing, I can't wait to go back and try more :)

A Mixee Vegan Experience - Edit
The experience at this mid-tier vegan restaurant was mixed. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked, and the tacos and salad were just average. While it may be a convenient option if you're nearby, it's not worth a special trip.

I’m looking sideways at every person that gave this place more than a 3 star review. I will say that the menu is expansive so I may have ordered the “wrong” thing because with a menu that large it’s going to be challenging to get everything right. But I ordered what I was in the mood for.
Read moreThe smoothie: Mocha Mint was very tasty. I added flaxseed and really enjoyed the mix of flavors.
The juice: Novid19 orange was also quite delicious. The name got my attention and the tastiness kept it. It wasn’t too sweet or spicy but a great balance.
The drumstick wings: though they lacked enough flavor for my liking I loved the crispiness. They were fried to perfection and good when dipped in sauce. I did not care for the texture however and mostly ate the crispy flakes after the first one.
Chili dog: nothing about this was good. The chili was in clumps, the bread was too big for the tiny hot dog and it looked like dog food in the box. This was definitely the most disappointing thing that I ordered.
The macaroni: lacking cheese and way too peppery
Side salad: looked good but they forgot my dressing so I couldn’t eat it unless it lasts until tomorrow when I can find some dressing.
Overall if I wanted a good smoothie or juice and was in the area I’d definitely swing by but I don’t need to try anything else on the menu because it wasn’t with the $55 I spend.
If I could have given 2.5 starts I would have.
Pros: The creative smoothie selections , Ran smoothly and effectively , Lots of choices
Cons: Too many menu options , Too expensive for the quality

Really expansive menu with something for everyone. My breakfast burger was fantastic. Chili cheese fries had so much impossible meat and it has a great seasoning. Cauliflower wings were good. My daughter’s peanut butter waffles were surprising tasty, the flavors really worked together. We are coming back while in Raleigh.

I visited in the morning, and it wasn't too busy. I tried the Banana Toast Crunch and and Southern Comfort. Both were delicious! Would love to try them again for lunch or dinner.

I wanted to love this place so bad! I don't know if it's just the things we ordered weren't the best options, but I wouldn't go back based on our experience. The chick'n delight breakfast sandwich was inedible. I took a few bites, and each one caused oil to gush out of the patty into my mouth. Unfortunately, I threw 3/4 of it away. The waffle was basic and I was shocked that they served high fructose corn syrup "maple mountain syrup" on the side. Because of this, I asked if the maple syrup in the overnight oats was really maple syrup, or if it was also high fructose corn syrup. The employee shared that it was real maple syrup, but we found that hard to believe. My friend chose not to finish her overnight oats because of this. 🙁

Read moreRating based on one visit to Raleigh location, subject to change. I appreciate that the menu has changed since relocating. I tried and enjoyed the sambar though the spiciness detracted from the flavor. The impossible kabobs tasted good but the texture was softer than what I’d prefer. I had a mango smoothie but couldn’t taste much over the banana. The new location seems to be generating a lot more foot traffic so I hope they do well in the area.

Was in town from Charlotte & finally was able to make it here. Really good food & dining room was bright & clean. Loved the diversity of the customer base. Seemed like lots of first timers today. We all said we would be back for sure! Had the tikki burger…very flavorful!!

They have an extensive menu. Breakfast all day! We had the buffalo chick’n sandwich, roasted brussels sprouts and uttapam. Their fusion menu has tons of Indian food favorites. The Uttapam was delicious with the lentil vegetable soup.

Simply outstanding in every respect. A huge menu with something for everyone ! We discovered it on a business trip Wednesday for dinner and came back for lunch on Thursday. Great vibe, super friendly staff walked us through all the options. Next time we're in Raleigh, we'll be there every day for lunch. LOVE THIS PLACE !!!

This is my 2nd visit and they do not disappoint! I order too much food because I can’t make up my mind!! Today I ordered the gf chipotle bowl w/dressings on the side, Mac n cheez and the kale slaw. The slaw was a surprise because it had Brussels sprouts in it. Very crunchy!! I’d suggest they put less dressing on it. Next time I’ll try some of their Indian specialties.

Huge selection of food and desserts. I got the pulled jackfruit sandwich and loved it. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I’ve ever had! My husband had the bacon ranch chicken sandwich and chili fries and loved them both.

Read moreOn another day tried the Mac and cheese (good), disassembled samosa (very good), chickn wrap (very good), chickn tenders with bbq sauce (very good) and veggie tacos (no flavor at all, although had some heat due to the jalapeno onions).
I love Mexican food but the offerings in this restaurant are not representative of good vegan Mexican options. The rest of the items i have tried have been very tasty and filling.

I like how the “chicken” sandwich could be made with either jackfruit or soy. (I had the bbq version made with jackfruit and my date had the original made with soy.) I also had some pakoras and the mac. Everything had a lot of flavor and the prices were very reasonable. I would go back!

Pure Vegan Happiness - Edit
We are breakfast people, and it is rare that we find an all vegan restaurant, much less one that serves breakfast food with a variety of options. Imagine our happiness to find Pure Vegan Café while in Raleigh! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was fast. We both ordered the "Southern Comfort" breakfast sandwich, and shared the (delicious!) peanut butter waffle, which had sliced banana and cacao chips sprinkled over the top. One bite of the breakfast sandwich, and we knew we'd hit vegan gold! Our only regret was finding the café at the end of our trip, but we placed a breakfast order for the following morning, so we could eat there one more time before heading to the airport. Between us, we ordered two more breakfast sandwiches, and the plain waffle with fruit and Vegg Bhurji (Indian style "scrambled eggs" - absolutely delicious and a must-try!). If you find yourself in, or near Raleigh or their other location in Durham, definitely make time to eat at Pure Vegan Café!

I like the fact they are environmentally friendly. Has a good selection of burgers and patties with an Indian flair on some menu items. Juices available. Did not feel rushed to leave once we were done eating.
