Small plant-based food cafe in the old town, near the chapel bridge. On weekdays it offers a changing lunch menu - check facebook updates. On weekends, breakfast & brunch. Coffee, ice cream, and cakes served everyday. Currently hosts a pop-up "Veggie Vibe" (until March 2023). Reported closed September 2023 - now an omnivore restaurant called Pura Pasta.

Heavenly - Edit
This small, upscale, chic vegan restaurant has a homey vibe. Staff are all super kind. I enjoyed a banana date cinnamon smoothie (YUM), a dinner option with a tomato base, lentils, chickpeas, almonds, eggplant, other veggies, and fresh pita bread, and dark chocolate ice cream for dessert. I felt beyond satisfied after this meal. It was the comfort food I was seeking! I will be dreaming about this place for years to come. If going with larger than a party of 1, make a reservation for this popular spot.

Mmm brunch buffet - Edit
We came here not so much for tea as for the weekend breakfast buffet which was nice. A selection of cold dishes: hummus, tapenade, marinated olives, oven baked potatoes, tzatziki, couscous, lentils, marinated tofu pieces. In addition to this you got to choose one warm dish from the menu and we chose the grilled tofu with peanut sauce and the falafel. Small dishes but very nice.

Very good but rather expensive - Edit
When we arrived it was packed full what is great for a vegan only place. We managed to get a table outside. We had a very good lunch but at a rather steep price for its rather tiny size. I am happy to pay a fair price but I’d prefer not leaving hungry and I am by no means a big eater. Maybe it’s due to the many people trying to eat there, they told me, they had almost run out of supplies. So they might have reduced the sizing. And I am also aware, that the location is probably expensive.

Small vegan cafe, good stop for a bite to eat and central location - Edit
Was really looking forward to a hearty meal, I arrived about 3pm but unfortunately they only serve hot food 12-2 and from 5.30.
Read moreFrom the cold menu, houmous was recommended. I had this with both brown and white bread which was good. I also got a soy chai latte but it wasn’t very sweet. I got a chocolate brownie which is the most delicious vegan brownie I’ve had to date! 18.50 francs (about £14).
The cafe sells cups/mugs and postcards. They also have notices in there, for example - yoga. There are games you can play too; board games and cards.
The toilet is upstairs which you need a key for.
Music playing softly, relaxed atmosphere.
Nice staff. Great central location. It’s child friendly!
*Went back a second time and had hot chocolate and a brownie. The hot chocolate was very sweet and delicious!
Went for a third and final time on Sunday around 11.30am but they were full, there were no seats available (it’s quite small) and I didn’t have time to wait as I was returning to the airport.*
Pros: Fully vegan , Amazing brownie, Great central location
Cons: Don’t serve hot food all day

Delicious honest food - Edit
After 10 days of trying to negotiate Vegan food from Swiss menus we were delighted to find this charming vegan tea house in Lucerne. Tucked away from the main drag of tourist hot spots in the old part of the city it was a delight to sit in quiet and cosy comfort. While the food menu is not extensive what is offered is delicious, filling and comforting. Our surprise mezze plate with seven dishes, which ranged from Dahl to hummus included the scrumptious spinach parcels. The dipping sauce which accompanied the baked sweet potato pieces reminded me of my mother's satisfying home made mayonnaise - a vegan version of which I had never been able to find. Our meal was accompanied by apple and ginger juice, which was a great palate cleanser. And of course if tea is your thing then there is a marvellous selection on offer, with vegan cakes and slices also offered.
Read morePros: Quiet, small, cosy, intimate
Cons: Wider food selection. Better signage.
