Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant offering vegan falafel, the Beyond burger, and labeled vegetarian options that can be made vegan upon request. Open Tue-Thu 4:00pm-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 4:00pm-10:00pm.
Recently returned to Public having not eaten there in several years, and it was pretty lackluster. The vegan options are extremely limited, and unnecessarily so, as there are a number of items on the menu that could be made vegan quite easily, e.g. the falafel (the wrap is not vegan) and the vegetarian pasta (the pesto is not vegan). I had the pasta, which was fine but nothing to write home about, and my partner had the Beyond burger, which was a Beyond burger. Their usual bun for that is also not vegan (just… why?), so she had to have what looked and tasted like a store-bought white burger bun from a bag. The bright spots were the cocktails and the fries! Overall, just felt like they are missing an opportunity to offer more, and at the price, it was fairly disappointing.
North Adams seems to have pretty limited options for vegans and vegetarians in general, so we were delighted by the marinated tofu sandwich at Post. It was very good and the omni person I was with really enjoyed it as well. They have a bunch of other veggie items on the menu that can be veganized upon request, but you'd be missing out if you don't try this sandwich! Looking forward to going back and seeing if they add more vegan items to the menu because I expect they would do an excellent job with it. The bartender who served us was excellent as well--soft-spoken, kind, helpful, and didn't hover.

They worked with us to get vegan options, and the food was good but vegan options were quite limited.
