Very nice vegan restaurant - Edit
I ordered the lasagne and the tiramisu, and both were pretty good, but I'd really like to go back and try the cheesecake and the potpie. Plus, the staff were super nice.

Grabbed Caesar salad wraps to go - Edit
With a long day of travel ahead of us, we grabbed 2 Caesar salad wraps to go to eat at the airport and I’m not sorry one bit. $19 for one is a bit steep, but hey/ it’s time square. Perfectly crispy chicken and assuming a house Caesar dressing - it was delish. We actually ate the second one 10 hours later and it was still good.

Great food and even better service - Edit
I was staying in a hotel near here and decided to try this place out. I was very pleased that I did. It’s a great little restaurant, full of very welcoming and friendly people. I was trying to stay on the healthy side, but caved to try the black and blue burger. I skipped the french fries and got a side of brussels sprouts. I really like that black and blue burger. I can’t remember the last time I had anything like blue cheese. This was very good. I finished with the carrot cake, upon the recommendation of one of the staff, and it did not disappoint.

HUGE and delicious salads - Edit
We came here at the end of a very long day including flying to New York. We’d been awake for about 22 hours. We were hankering for healthy food so both ordered salad and I’m SO glad we did. The menu is full of burgers, pastas, chicken wings etc but the salads stole the show. We didn’t get food envy from anyone around us with any other food. The salads are enormous, generous, well seasoned. Obviously expensive but everywhere in NY is ($30 for a salad) and I’d pay it again!
Read moreDecor is a little bit dated, white exposed brick and pink neon signs. But the staff are lovely, service was quick but we didn’t feel rushed. A really nice spot and in a great location just off Times Square!
Pros: Good mocktails, Huge salad portions, Great location

Lots of gluten free options - Edit
We stopped by on a Monday night and received our food quickly. They have a vegan gluten free bun available for the P.S. burger. Crabby cakes and Brussel sprouts were also gluten free. There are 3 gluten free vegan options for dessert! They do not have gluten free pasta.

Cons: A little hidden as we couldn’t see the sign

Right in the Theater District! - Edit
P.S. was right across the street from the Walter Kerr theater (we just saw Ani in “Hadestown”!!).

To start, my GF got the Colombian Potato Soup — it was delicious! Flavor and all the ingredients, very good. They served the bowl with the onions, micro green & avocado, and then poured the liquid over that, table-side…. Beautiful.
I got the Caesar Salad - with mixed greens, croutons, fried capers & ‘Parmesan’ (like I make, but better). This was a perfectly dressed salad, perfectly garlicky & salty. I’ve been craving a *good* Caesar since going plant-based… finally found it!! 😁 The texture of the frisé was delightful on my tongue.
She got the Buffalo Miataki on a Pretzel bun. It was beautiful, but WAY too hot for our tastes.
I got the Linguini with Marinara (minus the spinach). This was too sweet. I got more ‘Parmesan’ & salt, and added the few remaining crispy capers — that helped. They forgot the crispy ‘chicken’, so we got that on a side plate. That was ‘the usual’ mushroom-based cutlet … okay.
Finished with decaf oat lattes & the Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Blood Orange glaze & Coconut ‘cream’ — really good. Not too sweet & a perfect balance of tart. Highly recommend!
Pros: The Caesar Salad!, The Colombian Potato Soup, Location
Cons: Buffalo is too spicy , Marinara too sweet

Overpriced, mediocre - Edit
Very expensive for standard vegan comfort food fare. I’m glad they have a good mission statement and the food was fine, but the menu was not cohesive and left a lot to be desired for the high price and upscale atmosphere. We got cauliflower wings, crab cakes, and a chickn pot pie. The wings were the best of the three and it was fun breaking the top crust of the pie but the flavor was meh. Drinks were $20 starting price.

Chicken Pot Pie - Edit
We stopped on our way to a Broadway show. We got the Thai Chili Sandwich and the Chicken Pot Pie - the latter of which was the absolute winner of the weekend. So good! That first bite with the crust … great! If only there were 6 stars!

Theater district - Edit
This is a great vegan spot in the theater district. They have different veggie burgers salads, soups, and a bar with creative and seasonal drinks. They do brunch on Sundays. Make sure to make reservations if you’re coming during the weekend as it can get pretty busy in the late afternoon and evenings.

Major nostalgia for the chicken pot pie 💛 - Edit
I chose to order the chicken pot pie, the first time I’ve had this dish in the 5 years since I’ve been vegan. It was so delectably good. The spring weather outside was brisk, and this warmed me right up. The pastry topping was perfect, but frankly, the creamy veggie and chicken filling was my favorite. The vibes were also nice.

Great Taste, Service, Not that Healthy - Edit
Don't go here looking for a bowl of veggies or a wide selection of salads. This is more of a heavy-take-your-non-vegan-friends-to-dinner place. Everything was great. Just on the heavy side. Perfect location for theater.

Great Restaurant - Edit
Took the train to NY city from buffalo. About 8 hours. We were tired and hungry and this was our first stop in the city. My wife and two boys all ordered a ton and we ate everything. It was so delicious!! Nachos and chicken pot pie were our favorite. I’m sorry I did not save the photos. Ended up being our favorite restaurant on the trip. Give it try!

Amazing meal - Edit
I give a lot of good reviews but this was by far one of the best vegan meals we’ve ever had. Also the most expensive meal I’ve ever bought, but I’m not from NYC, so I know that makes a difference. We got burgers (beyond), “chicken” pot pie, alphredo, “crab” cakes, and a beet salad.

Love PS Kitchen, whether for brunch, lunch or dinner out ♡
Read moreBeen here multiple times and when we visit NYC.
Most recently ordered Black N Bleu Burger, Mac and Cheese, and Caesar salad to go for the first time. Burger was solid but not their best this time. Caesar was great. And the star of the show, the Mac and Cheese. My husband, "the mac is insanity".
Maitake wings are my personal favorite ♡
