Serves meat, vegan options available. Shop specializing in pierogi dumplings. One is labeled vegan (filled with lentils), but dough is vegan for all pierogi so the ones with fruits or mushrooms are vegan-friendly. Check to be sure. NOTE: Sauerkraut pierogis are not vegan friendly. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-20:00, Sat 11:00-17:00.

Cheap and good - Edit
This is the shop to go to try the pierogi in a vegan version.
Read moreThey have one type of salty vegan pierogi (coral lentils and carrots, now with whole grain dough) and two sweet ones (cherry / strawberry).
If you can, I recommend to take them to cook at your place (boil them until they raise at the surface of water, wait 2 minutes, remove from water and enjoy!). They are then very cheap (1.70 pln / piece) and you can take the exact number you want of each type.

Got to try traditional polish food! - Edit
Went to try the pierogies. Paid 15,90 for the dumplings and you got 9 in total which is more than enough for a whole meal. They were nice and different, we don’t have anything like it in the U.K. so was nice to try.
Read moreI also tried the beetroot soup but didn’t like it as it was too sweet.
Very cheap restaurant and items are labelled vegan 🌱
Would be 5* if fully vegan restaurant!
Pros: Vegan options , Cheap

I was misinformed about what is vegan and what is not - Edit
I was told multiple times by the service that pierogies with sauerkraut and mashrooms are vegan but the last time I vistited one well-informed waiter told me that in fact they have butter in them…
Read moreAny way the ones with lentils and fruit are really nice and I do recommend trying them

We came here to taste perogies and weren't disappointed! Yes there is only one salty option and two sweet options available for vegans, but they were so good!

Cheap pierogis - Edit
I think they serve the cheapest vegan dinner in Krakow. They have a few places in Krakow, and they offer vegan pierogis. They are very tasty, especially for the price!
