pretty good pho - Edit
It was nothing outstanding but it was pretty good. We got takeout and ate at home. I got the vegan pho which consisted of lots of veggies and a bit of tofu with a broth, tasted pretty good overall.

I'd love to try more of their options in the future and for them to add more vegan options too.

Loved the food here! So many options and huge serving sizes, it's highly recommended.
Read moreWithout a booking you would be struggling to get a table, this place was bustling! With a little queue at the front, and the tables tightly packed, it added to vibe, yet it wasn't too loud.
The service was friendly and quick. They have table QR code ordering available, which enabled us to progressively order our dishes and drinks (including gin and tonic and Vietnamese beers).
The lemongrass tofu was tasty and flavoursome. The dumplings were also perfect, as was the san choi bao.
The staff, although extremely busy, took the time to check we were good and that we were enjoying out meals. There is easy parking also. We will be coming back!

Have eaten here many times, always a great meal. Portions are generous and the owner is very friendly and happy to offer suggestions and recommendations it's so hard to decide! (Note Happy Cow limits to a 4 star rating for restaurants that serve meat).

This is the worst restaurant I've ever seen in Australia! After we ordered the meal, let us wait in the cold wind for more than an hour. During this period, we asked friendly when our food would be ready. It was cold outside and no one listened to our opinions in the rain. After another half an hour, we still didn't see any food. We went to the front desk and asked the time. We were told that the food was not ordered at all! When we left angrily, there were no waiters to say sorry to us! This restaurant is strongly not recommended!

Busy Vietnamese restaurant with vegan options - Edit
Proud Peacock is a very busy restaurant. The vegan options are clearly listed on the menu. Non-vegan options (including meat options) can be requested as vegan with mock meat available. I can recommend the laksa.
