If you need a genuine souvenir to take home from Belgrade then this woman's homemade Rakjia is the best you can do, Apricot or Quince are the best. She also makes Ajvar, if you've not tried it then you must. At the risk of causing another international incident I can honestly say that in my experience all the best ajvars I have had has come from Serbia.
