Authentic Balinese Nasi Campur - Edit
They did not have a menu when we visited, but they offered Nasi Campur, which was delicious and felt authentically Balinese. They also served a lentil-pumpkin soup with the Nasi Campur that was warm and delicious, something I had never tried before. They also have whole coconuts for drinking, and the muffin was simple yet tasty.

Delicious local homemade - Edit
This is delicious freshly prepared local food veganized, in a simple clean covered open-air space. It is attached to and affiliated with the Brahma Kumaris meditation center. I was told by a friend who knows them that the restaurant is run by the parents of the woman who runs the meditation center.

Only open from 11, till food is finished. Love it! I had a take-away box with rice, lots of different veg and tofu. Also added was a ittle tub of soup. 50.000 rupiah but a lot of veggies, which you dont usually get at other places when you order vegan nasi. I will retirn for sure!

Getting more and more expensive... - Edit
We used to go there last summer cause it was good and cheap. The nasi campur cost 30K. In August new price: 32K and now (only some months later): 35k for the same food. No bigger portions. And it's 10k more for extra satay (only 3 small skewers).
Read moreSo yeah it's cheap for foreign people but for pre-cooked food it's expensive. You can have a cheaper (and same quality or even better) Nasi Campur in the area.
It's hard to let only 3 stars cause the owner is lovely but we won't come back, too expensive now for our backpackers budget.
So sad :(

My favorite place in Ubud - Edit
Firstly let me say that Prima (and her husband) is a very nice and welcoming person and everyone who comes to her warung can feel that. She always serves pumpkin soup wIth Nasi Campur which varies in regards to what it consists of from day to day. I was never tired from having the same lunch over and over again. I miss her food badly (it is that good). Oh, and there’s also her famous banana cake... But you have to be in time cause it runs out quickly.

I don't really mind food that has been sitting out for a bit (at least this means the food comes quickly), but I draw the line at lukewarm rice!! xD
My sayur urab (veg) were a bit tasteless... maybe missing some salt? coconut?
But it was okay mixed with the mushrooms and jicama.
Tempe was interesting, parboiled with lemon and curry leaf, I think.
Indeed, the family is very nice, the space is breezy, and the price is below-average for the neighbourhood.
So I feel kind of guilty for the average rating... but I just want tasty food.

Place is small and quiet, owner is friendly. When I was there, there wasn't many food options left, so I can't actually tell that was nasi campur, but pumpkin soup was good. Taste was okay but I think after reading all reviews on happy cow, my expectations were high, not my favorite nasi campur in Ubud.

Terrible service. Came there with my son, waited half an hour to no avail, customers who came after us got their food but not we with a small boy, tried to get explanation but they just ignored. Avoid at all cost.
