Why no lemons?

I'm a huge fan of Pret and love their ethics and ethos. I'm a very keen green tea drinker to get as many antioxidants into me as possible. Pret have the best tasting green tea that i can get anywhere.

At home and in most other places I ask for a slice or two of lemon and they always have it.

Pret has a huge number of ingredients and everything they serve is brilliant. Sadly, in every single Pret I've been to they can't provide me with slices of lemon to put in my tea. I've contacted their head office because I thought they would care about this. They just said that the branches should all have lemons available. Sadly they don't.

The reason I find this so annoying and silly is that Pret prepare all their food on the premises. Loads of their salads etc have slices of lemon in them so they must have lemons on the premises. For some reason, they can't get one or two from the kitchen and put a slice in my tea. Why?

Pros: The best tasting green tea that I get anywhere, brilliant food, lovely staff

Cons: They can't find a slice of lemon for my tea

Clear labels

Standard Pret with tasty labeled vegan sandwiches, snack bars, soups and wraps. Has a large seating area with plug sockets and reliable wifi, but it can get a bit noisy depending on how busy the shopping centre is as a whole.

Pros: Labels vegan, Plenty of seats

Cons: Not fully vegan
