vegan set lunch menu: absolute bliss on a plate - Edit
My boyfriend and I adored this place! For 22 BOBs we had a large soup, main course (a “shepherds-pie” type of dish with plantain) with a nice side salad, drink and small dessert. Everything was heavenly! It’s run by a friendly Australian guy, convenient for non-Spanish speakers.
Read moreIt’s very popular with locals as well as tourists - we arrived at around 2 pm and got the last two servings of their set menu.

Make sure you try their vegan cupcakes - Edit
We went there for lunch and had burgers and fries. Food was fresh, the burgers were quite moist but a bit too 'soyish' to my taste. Juices are really delicious and refreshing. Also got a hot chocolate which seemed to have been made with water instead of plant-based milk (it was so watery) but the cocoa flavour was intense. The real highlight of this place to me were the cupcakes . Even before I was vegan I never really liked cupcakes (too dry, flavourless) but these ones absolutely won my heart. The cream is so rich and perfumed, and the sponge moist and light - well done Prem!

Dear Dianebg!
Read moreThanks for your review. We love what we do and we are always making sure thinks come out the best we can. I'm sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience with the Hot chocolate, but we always prepare our pure hot chocolate without plant based milk, it's explained in in our menu, and if you want to add any of our different types of plant based milk you are free to ask the stuff.
Hope you come next time and try more of our delicious pastries and our hot chocolate (this time with plant based milk)
Enjoy your travels
Cheers

Simple & tasty - Edit
The restaurant offers a different lunch menu every day (you can find on facebook), and there's a snack menu for the rest of the day.
Read moreSnacks include burgers, a buddha bowl, falafels, sandwiches for a very fair price (13-20 Bs, around 1,70 to 2,50 euros)... The asian influence is nowhere to be seen (unless you count a buddha bowl as "asian food"). If you arrive late in the afternoon, you might not have a lot of choices.
We tried their special burger, which had a nice patty, and their falafels, which were filling and tasty. Their spicy sauce is good.
However, it seems like the snacks are prepared very much in advance, and they just warm it up in the microwave for you.
We also tried their almond cake & their banana cake, which were good and very cheap homemade options (4 Bs, around 0,50 euros).
If you're ever in Sucre, we do recommend you try it, but maybe go for lunch instead of snacks :)
Pros: Located in the centre of Sucre, Cheap and tasty food and cakes, Lunch menu changes everyday
Cons: No fresh snacks in the evening, Closes at 8pm

Incredible Food, Incredible People - Edit
I stayed in Sucre for a week taking Spanish lessons and hanging around and must have visited Prem at least a dozen times.
Read moreTheir 22bs lunch menu is superb and offers two choices for an entree each day as well as a soup, salad bar, and dessert. I don't think there is a better deal in Sucre, and this food is organic, vegan, and insanely delicious. You can go to the market and get a 15bs plate of fried potatoes, rice, and beef, or you can come to Prem and get a wholesome array of deliciousness with more color on your plate than you know what to do with.
Being that it's a small restaurant and the owners are there most of the time, I got chatting with them and they are both truly inspiring people with a vision that is seriously uplifting. To start a vegan restaurant in Bolivia is brave, but they are clearly doing an amazing job, translated by the fact that the majority of their clientele are local Bolivians, as I was usually the only gringo eating during their full-house lunch hours. C'mon gringos, let's show some pride!
The dinner menu is also incredibly fairly priced and I often found myself coming in for the lunch menu and heading back in around 8:00pm or so for a pre-bed, healthy snack. My hostel was closeby, don't judge.
Also, if you don't try the Choco-Maca smoothie, you're crazy. One of the best drinks I have had in my life. The chai is amazing as well.
I took my carnivore friends in there as well and they were highly impressed, although it didn't stop them from chowing down on meaty salteñas the next day. Oh well, every meal helps.
Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. High quality food with a conscience and one that's shedding positive light on the community as well. Try it!!!
Pros: Affordable and All-Vegan, Fresh, 4-Course Lunch Menu
Cons: Gets Busy at Lunchtime

Exasperating staff - Edit
I have tried to go here twice, and failed both times because of the staff and their confusing way of insisting on throwing information at you. You cannot just sit down and read all of the options: instead they force a verbal torrent on you. I personally find it overwhelming having to process too much auditory input: it's too linear for me. This is particularly difficult when it comes to food for two reasons. First of all, I was a vegan for many years before I ever had a choice anyway, and thus I find it difficult choosing now when I have one. Secondly, I am not into cooking and so there are many ingredients that I can readily translate between Spanish and English but I still don't really understand what they are. I therefore need to be able to see the options in writing so that I can take my time choosing.
Read moreThe first time I went was beween 3:00 and 4:00. I actually just wanted a piece of cake but the guy insisted on telling me in great detail about why the menú del día was not available. The second time the only way to read the menú del día was to stand on the street. It literally consisted of only about eight words so I asked why they couldn't also write them on a blackboard inside. The girl then went into a long spiel describing it, talking over me when I was trying to explain my difficulty processing information in that way. The guy then randomly changed into English and started trying to do it in that, even though nothing I had said indicated that the problem was Spanish. I would be too afraid to return because I would expect a similarly intimidating experience.
Pros: All vegan, Central location
Cons: Offputting staff, Difficulty in discovering the options

Wonderful tasty healthy food! - Edit
During my time here in sucre, Ive found this place to be very reliable with meals that feel fresh, healthy, delicious and filling. The owners and staff were very nice and friendly and the service was great. Both the owners are pure vegetarians going on vegan, which made me feel very happy and comfortable eating here.
Read moreIve had a hard time in south America finding pure veg food as allot of the 'veg' restaurants use 'cubitos' or powdered bones and meat for flavour in their soups and other preparation and Ive had to be very careful in my travels as im a strict vegetarian.
I loved this place for the food and atmosphere. Definitely worth trying.
Pros: Heathy food, Low prices , super vegan friendly
Cons: small spIace, only open for lunce (atm)

Delicious. Simple. Local Food. - Edit
Fixed vegan lunch menu: soup, main dish with side salad, (delicious homemade) wheat bread, dessert, and tea. 20 bolivianos! Extra 4 bolivianos for a piece of yummy vegan cake to go. Mellow atmosphere with South Asian music. Owners are an Australian (man) and Bolivian (woman) couple. She cooks. If you want a nice lunch (not serving dinner yet), go here immediately. I will eat all of my lunches in Sucre here.
