Traditional Italian Fare & Vegan Night

This restaurant has been serving up traditional Italian fare for about 11 years. Recently, around October 2018, they added a vegan night on Tuesdays. The menu is ever changing for the Tuesday options, so best to check Facebook or call to find out what are the options. There are also a few ongoing vegan options on the main menu, for example, a veggie topped pizza without cheese. We had that pizza, but the crust was soggy. We also tried the special menu, which reflected some strong options including a rich chickpea soup and an vegan pesto over pasta. A cashew-based pistachio cheesecake had not thawed; it had a nice taste but was difficult to cut and eat owing to being frozen solid.
Service was excellent. The place consisted of two storefronts, and had an old-World feel to it. It’s cozy and on the main drag of the historic district. Parking is not convenient: one free lot is around the corner and it’s grab available spaces nearby if available.
