Great - Edit
I had the curry, it was so delicious, and cheap too. The lady who was doing the serving and cooking is lovely and kept checking how everything was. Will definitely go back many more times.

Delicious food, friendly service and wonderful atmosphere - Edit
We are so happy to have found this gem! Our food was absolutely delicious! We got the mock fish and aoli which was the most amazing fake fish we’ve ever had!! The cauliflower was great too and our main meal was full of flavor with scrumptious roti and a mango lassi! Highly recommend to everyone!

Prans Soul Food - Edit
Whilst walking the streets of Auckland looking for a Vegan eatery, we came upon this little gem. A vegan delight that offers a delicious food from substantial menu. The deco is inviting and the host who is most charming and informative offering information about the many locations in Auckland and New Zealand where vegan meals can be had.

One of my favourites! - Edit
I am one of Pran's repeat customers and I can not praise this little place enough. The food is delicious and it's such a reasonable price too - not to mention Pran is one of the nicest people I've ever met!

i wish I could give 5 stars - Edit
The lady who owns it is lovely but there were a few issues our food came out at different times (I had finished mine before my partner). My 'fish' and chips was ok but wasn't the best version I've had. And unfortunately I could hear arguing in the kitchen which was a shame as it ruined the experience for me. Maybe in a year it wpuld be a lot better, There's def room for improvement and I will still go back again to try😄

Promising - Edit
Pran is really trying, and the food could be good if she gets the formula right. There's lots of interesting ideas, and the noodle curry was good. The fries were undercooked and still raw, so were the veggies. We didn't complain, but Pran noticed and redid it for us. The rest of the food wasn't good at all, but it so nearly could have. Also, the service was very awkward.

Mega homecooked vegan food - Edit
Happily found Pran's on happy cow and thought I'd give it a go as it wasn't far from my accomodation. So glad I did! The phish and chips and vegan mango lassi were incredible. Big portion and so tasty! Highly recommend!

New vegan restaurant finding their feet, worthwhile to support - Edit
They have some real tasty things like the cauliflower "chips" and the mango milkshake. Also had the loaded fries (vegan mince on chips) which were delicious, will be on the menu soon.

The food was a little on the slow side due to training new staff but the service from Pranita was incredible, she was absolutely lovely and very helpful.
Good balance of mock meats with whole foods

prans not so good - Edit
i had read good reviews however I was not impressed with the food-the Thali was 10.00 and it was tiny -the curry was about 2 tablespoons worth and the soup was cold -Rasoi over the road is much better value and portions are value for money -a korma with kale and broccoli rice was ordered and it was like frozen vege style snd the korma was watery -and again way more expensive then it should have been i get what they are trying to do and I applaud the vegan aspect but they need to up their game in terms of good quality food and value for money -very disappointed

Promising newly opened vegan restaurant! - Edit
Prans Soul Food is a new vegan restaurant at the Karangahape Road with very generous opening hours: daily open for lunch and dinner! The host, cook and owner is lovely and takes you through the delicious looking menu. We were slightly disappointed that some items on the menu were already sold out at 5pm on a Tuesday and others were not available yet in the first weeks after opening. There was sufficient choice for all three of us to try something different though and we enjoyed a good meal with dessert! On the weekends there is buffet with a lot of choice, we will have to come back for that.
