Home food

Home food, good prices. They have at least 1 vegan option every day. The menu changes daily.

Cosy local place

I eat there regularly for several years already.
Very friendly staff (unlike anywhere else, e.g. they like to sing together in the kitchen😄).
Nothing sofisticated but good taste and value for money.
Menu changes daily (it's posted on Facebook so you can check it in advance).

There’s no vegan breakfast but they offered me a soup from lunch menu instead :)

At the spot we found out that for breakfast they do not have vegan options so i stick to coffee instead. But my friend had some omelette and she liked it a lot! My coffee was great and the lady offered me a soup from lunch menu even if they weren’t serving it yet! Which was very nice of theme... i will defo comeback next time when am in town to check out their lunch :)

Pros: Big venue , Cosy, Very friendly and helpful stuff

If I could give 0 stars I would

I didn't even get the chance to order anything. After entering Powoli and walked up to the counter I got ignored by the person behind the counter; even after greeting her. After what seemed like forever, I decided to kindly ask for an English menu. The lady behind the counter rolled her eyes and said that they don't have an English menu; since their menu changes on the daily. She then turned around and never looked at me again. I stood there all awkward and eventually decided to leave after being ignored for too long.
A local entered Powoli as I was headed for the door. And I [censored] you not. Magic happened in front of my eyes. Powoli baba behind the counter turned from a stoned cold lady to a hospitality fairy. Just like that. What a party trick. However this trick made me think I would give 0 stars if I could.

Pros: I didn't know upfront I would be treated poorly, The place looked cozy enough to lure me in

Cons: Very rude lady behind the counter

Great lunches

I was in the area during a day for several months and always went to Powoli for lunch. They have at least one vegetarian option on the menu, which seems to always be vegan. Simple, tasty food, big portions for a very reasonable price, plus a good selection of non-alcoholic beverages, and a nice staff. The place itself is not big, but cozy. Even though there is quite a lot of people inside during lunch, somehow I always could find a place to sit without waiting.

Small cozy place in the heart of Nadodrze district with super friendly staff. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options for very affordable price! Highly recommended!

Pros: Friendly staff, Many vegan and vegetarian options, Fair prices
