Not worth a special trip

A good range of options with a few menu items and three cakes/slices. The ginger slice warmed with soya ice cream was very tasty. However, they brought butter with the toast for the vegan breakfast, and when I asked for non-dairy spread they said they'd run out. The manager/senior staff member apologised but then started blaming how busy they were and it felt insincere. Breakfast was ok but nothing special (i.e. Linda McCartney sausages, the James Belushi of vegan sausages).

Pros: Good vegan options , Delicious cake, Nice environment

Cons: Brought butter with breakfast toast, Chaotic service

Bit overpriced

Decent little cafe but the food was overpriced for what was made.

Great Vegan Options

Visited for lunch as there are quite a few vegan options, owner is very accommodating so I had the houmous & pepper sandwich filling with avocado on a jacket potato. My husband had the Tuscan bean stew which is vegan if you swap the butter for soya spread. The food was delicious, ample portions and I loved the bright colourful crockery. The stew had a good zing of chilli, served with lovely granary bread and my jacket potato was huge. Lots of vegan cakes too although we were too full. Has soya milk. Definitely a place to revisit and have a coffee and cake.

Pros: Vegan options, Vegan cake, Soya milk and soya spread
