Vegan options were primary apps and pizza but I would go back at least weekly for the Snawseeegh pizza... It was amazing. Best cashew ricotta I've ever had.

I had the Rita and Mark pizza. The vegan cheese on it rivals that of the vegan cheese that Crust and Crumble uses. Just be sure to call ahead, especially if you plan on visiting during the weekend.

What can I say that hasn't already been said...I freaking love Porta. The environment is perfection, gorgeous drink selections and a bevvy of vegan pizza options. You just can't go wrong with a Rita & Mark. Add cashew ricotta and ascend into heaven. Don't stay too late though (or do!) - this place turns into a loud, rivals-NYC-style club at night!

So, I stopped in here on my way back from NJ Vegfest and was rolling through and needed to get something fast to go. I want to go back because I love the atmosphere. It’s like rustic warehouse chic. So cool and has a couple of patios to dine outside. We ordered two pizzas to go and they were literally ready in 10 minutes and the place was PACKED. I got the snawcheeze and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. The staff was all friendly, professional, and super efficient.

So delicious! Have tried both Rita & Mark (amazing v cheese!) and Snawzeech w broccoli rabe, v sausage (sage heavy!) and cashew ricotta. High recommend! Outdoor / indoor environment, family friendly, great bar, live music sometimes, trendy neighborhood.

We ordered the Snawzeech pizza and the cashew ricotta with bread appetizer. Both were amazing and I highly recommend. We also ordered a carafe of the red Porta wine.

Really tasty pizzas! Visited this place with a group of vegans and vegetarian friends. Between 6 people we devoured 4 vegan pizzas. We were all happy and satisfied with the meal. No complaints whatsoever. We will come back!

Thanks to the other reviews I ordered the pizza with cashew cheese and sausage (sans broccoli rabe cause it's the one veg I don't like). Hot dang it was good. Best sausage I've had on pizza. Great brick oven flavor and the sauce was packed with flavor.

Porta Pizzas are INSANELY GOOD. unless yer vegan and or gluten free. Then you are insanely limited. Surprising considering it's asbury park location. They should add a gluten free crust option and widen the vegan cheese selections.

Porta changes their menu seasonally so every few months you'll find new vegan/veg options. However, even with all the changes, the taste and quality is totally consistent.

Wow - what a great restaurant for pizza-loving vegans. They have three different vegan pizzas on their menu; we tried two of them and both were great but the marinara pizza was absolutely out of this world. The pizza menu is available for those choosing to sit outside at their picnic tables, which is what we did - there is a more extensive menu inside, but we didn't need it; we were very happy. Highly recommended.
