Pie Needs more Veggies

Tall girl with curly hair behind the counter was kind of weird and standoffish when I asked questions. I got the curry pot pie, which was ok. It had basically no vegetables in it. They said it wasn't spicy at all (heat-wise) and it definitely was. I'd say it was mild to medium heat spice, but I told them I have absolutely zero tolerance for something with heat spice, even if it's very very mild. So, unfortunately I sat there sweating in 85 degree heat with no AC eating a spicy pot pie with no veggies in it. They had a straight up veggie pot pie, but it wasn't vegan, only vegetarian. Seems like it would make sense to veganize it. Iced latte was really good.

Comfort Food Find

I’d had a rough week and was craving a pot pie so I gave Pop Pies a try. No regrets! There’s really only one vegan savory option which is the veggie curry pie. It was absolutely delicious with a nice flaky crust and a wonderful yellow curry sauce. Apparently they have a daily vegan sweet pie as well, and today it was cherry crumble. Of course I had to try that too. Also fantastic. Definitely going back.

Pros: Pie!

Cons: More vegan options would be amazing

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

There are only a few vegan options, but the vegan sweet pie was absolutely delicious. It was a strawberry rhubarb with the perfect balance of sweet and tart. I loved the crumble topping and flakey pie crust too! They also had a savory curry pie and plant-based milks/drinks. The staff was friendly, and our pie was warmed quickly. I will definitely stop by again!

Pros: friendly staff , tasty pies

Cons: few vegan options

Tastey Pies, Limited Options, Friendly Staff

As virtually every previous reviewer has said, on any given basis they have one sweet pie (e.g. Apple Crumble) and one Savory (only ever seen Roasted Vegetable Curry). Their kale slaw is also vegan.

The pies are very tasty, and I have gone there repeatedly and happily knowing that the vegetable curry pie would be the one I would be getting. They have some nice, quality coffees too (pour-over, espresso, etc).

Always been happy with the staff. They use metal utensils, which is nice, and they have a little patio outside too. Right next door to Stella Jean's, which has some amazing vegan options, so if you really want to spoil yourself, visit both!

Pop Pie Co.

They had one vegan pie which was a curry. I thought it was decent- The crust was flaky which I don't see often with vegan pies. It was really hot and fresh from the oven. I think I would eat here again, but I'd like to see more variety with vegan options. They also had one vegan dessert which was an apple pie.

Limited options

Pies are pretty yummy but I wish they had a few more options. The espresso is top notch though!
