It was okay - Edit
We got this special Italian mushroom pizza that was labeled vegan. It was okay. I didn’t really take for the mushrooms but my fiancé LOVED them! He wants me to put in my review for him, “the texture and taste reminded me of the pig fat on bacon.” Maybe it was too much for me haha!
Read moreI also wanted a salad and it came so bland, I had to ask for oil, vinegar and salt. I probably wouldn’t come back here as a first choice but wouldn’t be supper disappointed if I did go back either.

Great vibe and food! - Edit
If you are into whole food plant based this not the place. But to go to a place that is fun, has a full bar and everyone knows what a Vegan is, thIs is the place. Visiting from California it is also great not to be flipping out about masks!

True Italian Cuisine! - Edit
I love Pomo! The food is very authentic Italian and they are the only restaurant in Arizona that can make a perfect Aperol Spritz! The pizza is delicious but I wish they had cheese that wasn't Daiya. If you eat cheese, the Eggplant Parmesan is incredible! For a starter the Minestrone is vegan as well as the bruschetta but they won't cut the bruschetta in half for you for some odd reason. The thing that bothers me the most about dining at Pomo is how fast the food comes out. Are mains came out while we weren't even done with the starters. For a place that works to emulate Italian traditions, you'd expect the meal to be a slower pace.

Pros: Traditional Cuisine, Enjoyable Atmosphere, Delicious Food
Cons: Fast Pace

best vegan pizza! - Edit
Absolutely loved the fact that they had vegan options at an Italian restaurant! I really wish I saw that kind of thing more often. There were plenty of different types of dishes marked as vegan so you have a lot of variety to choose from! There's some appetizers, pastas, salads and pizzas (you can even turn any pizza vegan for $2!). I decided to get the Vegan Pizza that came with topped with tomato sauce, daiya cheese, basil and extra virgin olive oil. It was so delicious and I couldn't believe how soft and yummy the crust tasted! Make sure to reserve a table ahead of time as it tends to get pretty busy. Definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the area, you won't regret it!
