Viele vegane Optionen- ich hatte die veganen poffies mit Apfelmus! Waren lecker, haben mich aber nicht umgehauen. Dafür aber relativ günstig. ( Circa 6€ ). Sehr schöner Außenbereich, vor allem wenn die Sonne scheint. Außerdem war das Personal sehr nett! Wenn es sich anbietet, komme ich wieder😄

They always have some yummy vegan cake and cookies, a vegan breakfast and at least 1-3 vegan meals on the menu. Now even - after so many years (edit from old review) and much asking, they offer their traditional poffers finally in a vegan version, too!

Poffies are definitely something to try (the savoury option is pretty good for breakfast). Tacos were delicious, too. Great location and friendly staff but the waiting time was relatively long as the place was full.

Poffers is not so much of a secret spot as there was a huge queue of people who booked tables to have brunch on a sunny Saturday morning (luckily we did, too). We had to wait for ~10 min before we were seated by staff who were bustling around to clean tables. Still all waitresses were very nice despite the stress. There is a whole page of vegan poffertje dishes and several other vegan items, such as breakfast and warm lunch items. I opted for the poffertjes with plum sauce & poppy seed (alsan) butter which was a dream. Only downside is that this place is extremely loud, otherwise this would be a very cozy & relazing café to chill out.

Food was alright, the eggs my husband ordered were rather tasteless, the ham didn't look fresh, cheese was just usual Gouda, even if the menu said "herby/spicy" (würzig). He said the cumin bun was great.
Vegan breakfast was fine: a spoon of hummus, a spoon of Greek olive paste, 2 veggie patties, which tasted weirdly sour, small salad with no dressing, fruits and a soy yoghurt with a chia, which went really well together with fruits.
Coffee was great, I absolutely loved it.
All in all, I'd say the breakfast was fine, it's great they offer a vegan option but in my opinion it's overpriced (not just the vegan one) and the quality is still something to work on.

Ich wurde gestern wirklich positiv überrascht! Auf der Karte waren 2 vegane Hauptgerichte gekennzeichnet, natürlich mussten wir beide testen. Neben bezahlbaren Preisen waren wir total begeistert vom superleckeren Geschmack. Daneben beinhaltete die Karte ein veganes Frühstück und 3 Sorten vegane Cookies. Aber der Knaller war die vegane Schokotorte des wechselnden Angebotes von der Kuchentheke!! Mein persönliches Highlight :-) Sojamilch wird ohne Aufpreis als Alternative angeboten. Und für alle Hundeeltern, eure Lieblinge dürfen mit.
