不錯的一間(蔬)素食館 - Edit
在台北市大安區復興南路一段253巷,一間無蛋,無奶的(蔬)素食料理店˙餐點精緻美味清爽可口,並保留有機食材的原味,飲料跟甜點巧克力清爽好吃,服務很不錯。

The best vegan restaurant on the planet - Edit
Well, this place and those talent human being have been my inspiration in so many aspects. The restaurant is wonderful, the food is marvellous and delicious, the style of the place and the way they deliver the message and the concept of their vision are definitely the best. I have been at Plants several times and I can't wait to go back to Taipei just to indulge once again in this laboratory of love. I highly recommend dining at Plants. A life-changing experience, delicious and inspiring.

Love this place so so much!! - Edit
My favorite is the Kale salad and tempeh on the side! We always take desserts to go to enjoy them the next day, although I don’t usually eat dessert but theirs are sensational!

Best 100% vegan place in Taipei - Edit
I had the bibimbap and golden milk. The bibimbap tastes so fresh, flavorful, and healthy! The golden milk was also very tasty and healthy! I feel so vibrant after eating here. I wish I lived in Taipei so that I could come eat here regularly!

Was too full on the day I went to eat a full meal, but I stopped by for an afternoon snack - had the berry cheesecake with some nut milk tea, and was not disappointed. The food menu looks wholesome and delicious too! Would recommend. I was in the mood for something more junky I guess lol. Overall, the meal menu items look like they would fall on the healthier end of the spectrum.
Read moreThere's a little shop area with some shelves, where they stock some vegan chocolate and vegan organic items too. Somehow I managed to resist the vegan chocolate and other vegan goodies! Everything here looks good - recommended and would visit again myself!

It does what it says on the tin - Edit
It's great when the name of a restaurant describes exactly what they serve: plants. "Plants" restaurant is located in a side street of a mayor road and easy to find using Google Maps or Apple Maps. The restaurant seems to be very popular, when I went there at least half of the tables were taken (and a larger group actually couldn't be seated and left). For Taipei, the waitresses speak above average English. The menu is both in Chinese and English, but it doesn't have any pictures.
Read moreSince I was hungry, I ordered the vegan bibimbap and a chocolate smoothie. The latter was rather heavy on the stomach. The bibimbap was excellent: a nice variety of vegetables, a generous serving of very nicely prepared tofu and a surprisingly spicy dressing (wait for the after-burn!). The taste is great, the food is presented beautifully, the ingredients seem to be of good quality and the staff is polite and helpful. An excellent experience! So good in fact, that I went back for breakfast the very next day. For breakfast I had an acai-bowl which was just as good as lunch the day before.
Plants is the best restaurant I visited during my stay in Taipei, but... also the most boring one. The serve the same food as other vegan restaurants around the world. If you want to taste unique Taiwanese food, this is not the place to go. If you want to be sure of a good meal, Plants is the place for you.
Please note that Plants changes the menu regularly. This is done to keep the food interesting for repeating customers and to be able to serve seasonable food.
Pros: excellent food, great service, decent prices
Cons: not the place to experience unique Taiwanese food

Read morePlants is a vegan eatery that focuses on healthy wholefood cuisine. It also serves some macrobiotic and raw dishes. The atmosphere is homely and relaxing with wooden decor and furniture.
The bibimbap tempeh macrobiotic plate strikes a good balance between healthy and delicious. The housemade kimchi and creamy bibimbap sauce are the highlights of the dish. Another great tasting dish is the sweet and spicy cashews, which activated/sprouted nuts coated in maple syrup, chili and other spices.
Although it’s a bit pricier than the usual Taipei cafe, the high quality food, laid-back vibe and great service earn Plants a recommendation.
Pros: All vegan, Healthy and delicious food, Great environment and service
Cons: A bit pricey

Great taste albeit poor value - Edit
Plants offers a varied menu with some items which are not that easy to come across in Taipei, such as kombucha or Western-style sauerkraut. That being sad, it is drastically overpriced. Also, even though I asked for one of the items (sauerkraut for kimchi) to be substituted and the server confirmed the request, the kitchen ignored it and the server failed to help me sort it out. Especially given the prices, lackluster service was a major disappointment.
Read morePros: Diversified menu with some harder-to-find items, Convenient location near MRT, Easy to communicate in English
Cons: Overpriced , Unwilling to offer substitutions

Delicious and healthy! - Edit
I've tried a few dishes at Plants, and all of them are very tasty and healthy. Ingredients are very fresh and high quality, and a lot of care goes into each dish. My reason for not giving 5 stars, is the price. I feel like some of the dishes are just a little expensive for the quantity of food provided. I love that they sell reusable containers and jars, different soaps and other items. It is wonderful to have such a restaurant in Taipei.

Neat little restaurant. Absolution loved my falafel. Husband enjoyed his teriyaki tempeh, but didn't like the living sourkraut or the sea weed even though he typically does. Overall happy with our meals.

Was here in June 2019. Saw this on happycow and stopped by to give it a try. Here's my review for Plant.
Read moreThe food selection is similar to what you might find at a healthy vegan restaurant in LA or New York: falafel and hummus bowl, macro bowl, acai, granola, kale salad, and the link. The prices are also more western prices i.e. bit more than your Taiwanese places.
Three of us share a bunch of dishes, and everything was good. I like the falafel bowl and the hot potato wedges.

A great vegan find in Taipei. Delicious food, great service, welcoming environment. Kicking myself that I filled up on kombucha, and a vegan penne carbonara (with red lentil pasta) and a tumeric latte - but then was too full to try their delicious-looking cakes, or their ice cream. Will definitely visit again when travels being me back to Taipei

Had the Mac & Cheese and the Bibimbap, both were really tasty, but not too heavy. Really fresh with plenty of flavour. Also sell Moon Cheeses. Do yourself a favour and pick yourself up a Truffle Cheese. It’s one of the best vegan cheeses I’ve ever had.
