I've been there a few times since they moved to the Lincoln Eatery. The artichoke and neatball sandwiches were amazing. The guava empanada was unbelievable. The ice scream sandwich was the best I've ever had.

They walk the talk! - Edit
Many options for seating beyond the front porch. Try the lovely seating on the right side. Within a few steps you are in a zen like garden. Our juices were delicious and served in paper cups with paper straws! I got nachos with tofu scrambled! Outstanding! Regular nachos would of been too spicy for my taste. I appreciate them tweaking the nachos for my tastebuds. No smoke is allowed within 100 feet of the dinning space! How awsome was that!

Very Slow Service - Edit
I have eaten here twice. The first time, we never got our food for over an hour and a half. We were waiting while tables around us that came after us were served, paid, and left. The waiter never explained the reason for our wait and never communicated with us. The second time I ate here the service was still slow. The food here is good, but the communication between the customer and the kitchen is pretty bad.

We visited the restaurant a few days ago (Aug 4) and I was very impressed with the delicious food and service.

The happy happy joy joy smoothie was a delicious mix of banana and raw cacao and the chickun (sp) and waffles using artichoke hearts as the meat alternative. The savoury waffle was a great mix of healthy and treat with fresh vibrant vegetables, the seasoned crispy artichoke hearts and cashew cream cheese. I would eat it again for sure if I ever visit Miami South Beach.
Prices were reasonable too especially considering the lack of vegan alternatives close by and the average price of food in an expensive area.

Food is original and very tasty. We really enjoyed the missing egg bacun burger and the southern baked artichik’n burger. We will definitely be back to try the other burgers! Service was very good as well. 4 stars only because the place (hotel lobby) is not the most convenient.

At Plant Theory the menu is very creative and 100% vegan. The location is very convenient especially among people visiting as in the heart of South Beach tourist area. Im very grateful for this healthy, vegan spot and I'll make sure to visit every time i'm in the area!!! As a former vegan cafe owner i know how hard it is to run one of them, so kudos to owner Sheryn, that has been doing it for many years, and her friendly staff!!!

I had a portabela mushroom steak burger, at plant base theory on 8th and Collins witch is in the heart of south beach! And it was so rich in texture and taste! Hands down the best I e ever had. And thank you Sean for the amazing hospitality. The vibe in this place is so relaxing and upbeat. Very happy with the Choice of coming here.

The staff is super nice, and the food is great. I loved the nachos and the artichoke burger. The only downside is that the restaurant is in a hotel in a crowded street, so there are people passing by, loud music, and so forth. It’s worth the visit nonetheless.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a savory breakfast. I had the weekend brunch Benedict and it was delicious and I took to go the artichoke burger hut haven’t eaten it yet. The food was delicious my server was so nice. I highly recommend. Do not expect a posh dining experience. It is low key in a hotel lobby but I don’t care as long as my food is good and it was.
