The best nuggets I’ve had ever, vegan or not. Absolutely delicious could eat sooo many!! Love all the sauce options. Everything is well-priced. Love that they offer black bean burgers in place of the usual kind. Amazing vegan animal fries. Everything!! I pray this place spreads everywhere because it would be huge anywhere it goes. I’m confident all my non vegan friends would love this place so much. Y’all are so lucky if you live within 3 hours of one of these!!!

I wanted to love Plant Power, but unfortunately I was not impressed. The food was lackluster and didn't meet my high expectations after reading the reviews. The first few bites were delicious when the food was hot, but as soon as it started to cool off, it started tasting a bit weird and I felt kind of sick after eating the Iconic Fries.

Love the breakfast burrito and spicy buffalo chicken. I wanted to order more stuff but was too full. We stayed in OB just so we could go there. You can order breakfast or lunch until 11am

Favorite Breakfast Spot - Edit
Their breakfast items are my favorites on the menu. They also have a great assortment of burgers and other food items to try. I’ve tried a lot of their menu as this is my favorite place to eat in SD. They have a special shake each month that comes out which I would recommend trying as their flavors are spot on. Also, the workers are very nice. Many times I have found a smilie face or a nice message on the wrapper of my food or drink which always makes me smile.

Great Spot for Vegan Fast Food - Edit
So let's get the obvious out of the way upfront: If you're looking for a healthy plant based meal, Plant Power is not the place to go. If you want tasty vegan fast food style burgers, shakes, fries and sandwiches in the style of traditional American burger chains, you won't do much better than this. I'd even venture to say that Plant Power improves on those chains, and not just by being vegan.
Read moreIt's been many years since I've eaten a traditional fast food burger at any of the popular chains, but I remember them being kind of pathetic looking with hardly any fixings and looking nothing like the advertisements. The Plant Power bacon cheeseburger was BIG and had plenty of toppings and real lettuce, not iceberg. It was tasty, filling and reasonably priced.
Shakes were also excellent. Where Plant Power falls short is the chicken nuggets and fries. An order of Iconic Fries was smothered with tasty cheese, sauce and caramelized onions, but the fries themselves were not crispy.
In many ways Plant Power is similar to Next Level Burger, and each chain has areas in which they excel. Plant Power hand down makes the better burger. Next level's special tots and fries easily win over Plant Power. It's a tough call when it comes to the shakes - just about even but maybe next level has the edge. I'm debating whether plant power deserves 4 or 5 stars, and based on my one meal there am going to round up and give them 5.
What I do know is that I'd be thrilled if Plant Power expands beyond Southern California and opens locations nationwide. That would be a win for everyone!

I go here pretty frequently. The big zac (vegan Big Mac) is the best vegan burger I ever had. They also have fantastic vegan chicken nuggets.

It’s exactly what it sounds like! Burgers, chicken nuggets/tenders, wraps, desserts, iconic fries that are just like in n out animal style fries, etc! They have so many options and they have amazing sauces to try with every item. My personal favorite is the barbecue! And it’s fun to go every month and try the limited milkshake flavor they offer. So far I’ve had the cookie butter, pistachio, orange creamsicle, and salted caramel limited flavors and they were all amazing! The strawberry milkshake is a regular item and that’s my favorite milkshake that is always on the menu. The nuggets are so comparable to your everyday fast food chain that even my non vegan friends couldn’t tell the difference when I shared with them! There is something here for everyone even non vegans!

Great fast food but not very healthy - Edit
If you want some solid vegan fast food, I highly recommend Plant Power Fast Food. It's not very healthy but as fast food goes it pretty excellent. Sort of like Fatburger or In-n-Out as opposed to McDonald's.

Friendly customer service, the cashier gave me a high five for finishing my final exams:) the food is so delicious and realistic. The bacon looks and tastes like bacon, and a burger with some 1000 island sauce tastes just like a Big Mac, but better.

This. Place. Rocked. I mean, I was seriously impressed. To start, we got to pull up to the outdoor-eating parking booth things. Just like Sonic or In-N-Out, for that real classic fast food vibe. It was fun, I dig it! Also the service was really fast, we only had to wait a few minutes.

My husband had a rambler burger. The portions were huge (for fast food I'm used to) and had some serious weight to them. They did NOT skimp out on us. The flavors were delicious and classic, the shake was thick and creamy, the fries were crispy and hot.
Petition to open one of these in EVERY city, who's with me?!
12/10, would eat here every day. I'll be back. Soon.
Pros: All vegan, of course!, Frickin' DELICIOUS!, Huge portions- value for your money!

I wish they would expand throughout the entire US! More people need to know how delicious vegan food really is. I make it a priority to get the breakfast bagel with fried egg any time I come into town.
