Excellent vegan cafe - Edit
Called in for the first time today and it won't be the last! Excellent coffee, vegan blueberry muffin and spinach pie roll. Plus there's a well stocked vegan / wholefood shop. Super friendly staff. A must for anyone in Keswick.

Small and friendly cafe - Edit
Stopped here on my drive through the Lakes. Busy place with indoor and outdoor seating. Various vegan choices on the menu. Fair size portions. Tasty teas. A bit on the expensive side being a vegan cafe in the Lakes. Will try upload a photo.

Kat’s kitchen.. okay, but could be better - Edit
I went here with a high hope, perhaps that what made me disappointed. Really wanted to write a five stars review, but just can’t. We had three drinks (hot chocolate, golden milk, and a smoothie) and a cake (banana cinnamon). The drinks were not that special, especially with the price they charge (comparable to a high street coffee chain). The cake was dry and the texture was gritty. The stars are for having a lot of options and being fully plant-based, which are very difficult to find around here.

Best Plant Based Café - Edit
Stumbled on this place doing an ultra endurance cycling race and enjoyed a curry, coffees and other assorted goodies to fuel me up. The staff were friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable and the food is off the chart good!

Some vegetable focused mains - Edit
Nice to have a all vegan cafe in the centre of Keswick and there are quite a few outside tables. The menu is quite varied and includes some vegetable focused mains which is nice when so many place only offer burgers. We enjoyed the baked aubergine dish and the Caribbean curry but weren't wowed by the cakes. Service was efficient although not particularly warm.
Read moreWe had hope to return another day for a Friday evening take away but unfortunately they ended up closing early so might be worth checking ahead if you are making a particular journey.
The shop sells lots of nice goodies but they aren't serving the cafe meals as take away (only drinks and cakes).
Pros: All vegan, Central location, Goodies in the shop

Tasty food, nice location - Edit
It was great to have a vegan place to eat whilst visiting Keswick. The location is great and the food and drinks are nice, however we did feel the food was a little overpriced - probably cashing in on the convenience of the place. It was a busy time when we visited - the staff were mostly friendly but did throw a couple of sarcastic comments in while we were ordering which made us feel a little uncomfortable. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Went in with high expectations, and this place exceeded them. - Edit
I'd heard good things about this cafe, and I was excited to see what they had.
Read moreIt perfectly struck the balance between comfort food and healthy food, an effect that a lot of vegan food doesn't pull off. I had a "chicken" flatbread, and it was delicious, without being too heavy.
I would certainly recommend it.

Fresh, tasty, lots of choice - Edit
Stopped for lunch. The choice was excellent, and it all seems freshly prepared. My Middle Eastern plate was lovely, particularly the hummus and cous cous. Others enjoyed their tomato soup, garlic bread, and burger. Would absolutely recommend and return.

Great little cafe - Edit
There are not many places to eat in Keswick as a vegan, but this place makes up for that!
Read moreThe full vegan breakfast is excellent, as are the burgers and 'milk'shakes.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were staying in Keswick recently (self-catering) and wanted to make a vegan tiramisu.
After searching the local supermarket for ingredients (with no luck) we noticed that Kat's kitchen had vegan mascapone for sale in their shop.
The staff very kindly found a recipe in one of their vegan baking books, and that evening we had our tiramisu!
Pros: Excellent breakfast, Small shop selling vegan items, Freindly staff

Really nice place and the food is amazing. We had the Aussie burger and the Spanish burger with a milkshake each. It’s nice to eat somewhere where everything on the menu is complete vegan. They also had a cool mini market selling vegan groceries.

Came here a couple of years ago and loved it. Came back today and still amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful, and dogs welcome. Had an awesome full breakfast that had me stuffed (and I'm known for being Hobbit-like and having two breakfasts).

Amazing plant based cafe - Edit
Spoilt for choice with this menu! Everything from burgers/meat substitute dishes to delicious looking Buddha bowls, salads, wraps. We went for the soup, a falafel wrap, smoothies and an oat milkshake for my son. Everything was delicious. Good coffee, and a small shop area with a surprisingly good selection of vegan food and products. I only wish it was open later so I could come back for dinner!

Friendly folk with fantastic food. - Edit
On a warm day in a very busy Keswick this was just the ticket. They are still operating a Covid safe system and is all the better for it. Access only allowed when a table is available and tables are nicely spaced apart. The outside eating area has a temporary roof but some tables are still in the sun. Something for everyone and this is equally true with the food. I had a tofu bowl which was very nice and combined it with a Garlic flatbread, which was one of the nicest I have had for a while. Even the “basic burger” has a lot of trimmings and salads with it. A lovely piece of carrot cake to finish with coupled with a tasty smoothie. Recommended to anyone passing through Keswick be it on bike, foot or car.

best carrot cake - Edit
We didn't have chance to try any food on our first visit, because it was closed, but on our second visit we had a coffee and what I describe one of the best carrot cakes, that I ever had. I would like to go back there to try some sour dishes. Recommended
