Welcome to the Neighborhood! - Edit
Chop Ya Finga Sandwich was bangin! Vegan Steak, sauteed mushrooms & onion, vegan cheese, giardiniera house made sauce. Good people, good vibe, good food. On beautiful McDaniel St in Pittsburgh. Vegan means pro-people, pro-planet. Support this local black business!

Cool place, a bit quirky - Edit
I ordered an entree, smoothie, and cookie for $50 with tip. The food was good, but came to my table in a to go container. A small container of sauce came with the meal. I asked for another, but they told me I’d have to come up to the register again and pay more. It wasn’t worth interrupting my meal. I suppose I would have thought that for $50, I would get a plate and enough sauce.

Great food and friendly! - Edit
Food was delicious! We got platters with rice, fried plantains, empanadas, fried jackfruit, and more. I loved the jackfruit, my wife loved the plantains. We both really liked the rice. I found the empanadas a little salty.

Meals are a little bit expensive (>$20) but come with a lot of food.

Haitian Vegan - Edit
Haitian Vegan approved!!! The epis (seasoning) was on point! The legim patty (legume empanada) was giving paté kode vibes. It's tasty! I'm glad to have a taste of home as a vegan! The chef is from Haiti so the food gives that authentic Haitian home-cooked meal vibe. Love it!
