IT'S ABOUT TIME

I've traveled extensively all over the country and I've eaten at hundreds of Vegan restaurants and I've never come across Vegan Italian food made like this.

A big part of my family are Italians and when I went Vegan, I felt like I gave up a part of my culture. There's is nothing like Italian food and finding decent Italian Vegan food is hard enough, let alone great Vegan Italian food. I heard through the grapevine that there was a Vegan Italian restaurant opening up in West Palm Beach that was specializing in Vegan Italian food, but not your run of the mill Vegan Italian.

They boasted it was like going to a San Gennaro's feast to get sausage and peppers, meatball parm, chicken parm, yummy pasta dishes, zeppole's and even Brooklyn egg creams. I really didn't believe it until I saw it with my own two eyes.

They're set up at the Juiccy building which has been converted into some sort of a food court. It's a little confusing there, but I understand their concept. They are trying to do something like the Grandview Market in downtown West Palm Beach which could work in this area. It's on Northwood Rd in Northwood Village.

My first experience was as good as I hoped. I went for one of their signature sandwiches called, "The Johnny Gleeson". Apparently, this sandwich was named after their friend from NY who was killed. It's a Chicken Parmigiana sandwich with melted smoked provolone on toasted garlic bread with their battered fried chicken that tastes so much like chicken, I had to question if they were pulling one over on their customers.

The sandwich came with a mix of sweet potato tater tots and a delicious chopped kale salad. After I was done with my meal, they surprised with me some hot zeppoles that did not disappoint. Their menu is stacked with awesome sandwiches with funky names. I can't wait to go back to try their blueberry sweet rigatoni. I give this place 10 thumbs up. If you're feeling nostalgic for awesome festival Italian food, whether you're vegan or not, this is the place. I can guarantee non-vegans won't know the difference.

Pros: Amazing Vegan Italian comfort food , Great environment, super cool owners , Convenient parking

Cons: I have no cons right now.
