Drove 45 minutes to try. Owner was so lovely and attentive. It was a brunch only menu. We got 3 meals to split between the 2 of us because I’m a sucker for macaroni and cheese. Food was fresh and delicious. Got a pastry to go. Will definitely come again.

Fun atmosphere, great food, and the owners are super nice and personable. Just an overall great experience. Prices are reasonable and decent selection that changes occasionally so you can always try something new. They may not be a bakery, but the cookies are my favorite! Not only is the entire menu vegan, they are very aware of what is in their food, so it is easy to ask about any food allergies. I would like it if they would use compostable paper products instead of so much plastic, but that is an industry wide problem, not just them.

Hickory, NC restaurants gotta step up that game because Plant Based Boss is in town! I just had the best smoothie in the Hickory area today and these sandwiches are to freaking live for! We ordered the Pink Panther smoothie, the Mardi gras sandwich and the Louis Vuitton sandwich. They are doing a soft opening for several weeks and then will add items onto the menu in the coming weeks. Please go support them! Listen guys and gals, when I tell you that smoothie was life....that smoothie was life 😁. And these sandwiches woo lawd they are delicious! Glad I was able to get there today. I have a feeling they are about to be very busy!! Ashley and Justice...y'all got a great thing going there and I wish you lots and lots of success.
