Best vegan gravy I’ve ever had - Edit
My go to here is the cauliflower burger and fries and gravy, and I don’t really shy away from that order. ( with kale salad when I need greens to justify my junk food cravings haha)

Burgers feel old school and simple - which I like.
I’ve had other burgers there but a form fave is cauliflower, so I’m essentially giving this one meal 5 stars because it’s all I eat! Haha
Pros: The gravy is insane , Cauliflower burger is yummy, They finally sell gravy as a take home container!

This place was relatively close to where I'm staying while visiting Vancouver, so it was my "I didn't eat and have been on a plane and just got here" meal. It was alright, I got the Faux Real, fries, and a mini strawberry shake. The shake was good, rich without being heavy. I've had better vegan burgers and fries, though.

Read moreI ordered the poutine and strawberry oat shake. Both were awful, unfortunately. Perhaps I've been spoiled with so many better quality options here in the city - although I'm yet to find a great classic vegan poutine, since no one here uses cheese curds.
The poutine was just a tiny portion of fries with gravy and a few cheese shreds thrown on, while the shake tasted like thick, chalky, strawberry syrup. Just not worth the money.
For a great burger and good taste-for-value poutine, you're better off going to MEET. Glenburn Soda in Burnaby has some top notch plant-based shakes and sundaes too!

Went by and cannot figure out why this place was empty. Need some gooey comfort food? This fits the bill. My only (tiny) quibble is that the poutine was tiny, like TINY. Did I need more poutine? Uh no. Did I want more at that price point? Uh yes. For the serving size, the price is about $1 too high. Small quibble, but don't mess with poutine... #Veganuary

First visit, I had the Faux Real burger and a side of Fried Brussels Sprouts. Both were really good. Great way to make Brussels sprouts tasty! There is seating upstairs and outside. Reasonable prices.

The servers are super kind and helpful and full of recommendations. My friend and I shared the poutine, a burger, and a chocolate shake and it was all amazing. I love how much gravy they gave us for the poutine, and I haven’t seen cheese curds like this Since before being vegan! 10/10!!

Had the classic cheese burger and the tasting flight mini burgers (classic cheese, mushroom and cauliflower) with 2 sides of poutines.
Read moreI really commend the burgers for their juiciness, thickness and overall texture - the patty holds well and the brioche buns are great.
The flavour of the spicy cauliflower reminded me of indian curry spices (it was not spicy at all but that's fine).
The classic burger tasted good and simple - nicely executed.
Mushroom burger was REALLY full on mushroomy and I love that - the flavours felt and tasted natural and healthy.
The poutine for me was a bit too salty, it was definitely the salt on the fries and not the gravy or the cheese - which is a shame but there was just the right amount for me to not leave leftovers.
Overall a good experience.

I was excited to try this place because of all the great reviews and the fact that it is a newish vegan spot. Sadly, I was disappointed, my food was flavourless and my poutine was cold. Hopefully my next venture will be better.

Read moreMy burger patty is supposed to be more “meat like”, it had a really good flavour but honestly nothing new... the cheese though was on another planet. The best vegan sliced cheese I’ve ever had. My partners mushroom burger was so freaking delicious that I will 100% order it next time with extra cheese. The poutine was alright... the gravy was tasty but it was basic McCain fries I feel like... next time I’ll get the mushroom burger and a shake!
