A great local

I go to this store quite regularly. It has all the vegan things that large supermarkets don’t have. I love the vegan cheese selection. The coffee is also wonderful. I have often popped in there for a tea, hot chocolate or a CBD coffee. They also sell Crosstown doughnuts there which is great!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Good quality products , Coffee and Hot Food Available

Cons: Not cheap

My love for Planet Organic knows no bounds.

In December I moved from a flat in Battersea to a flat in Southfields. I complained mostly about how much I was going to miss living so close to the whacking great Whole Foods on Lavender Hill. I should not have feared, Planet Organic is ten million times the shop whole foods is.

Firstly, the selection goes way beyond food meaning I can pick up eco friendly toiletries, makeup, skincare and kitchenware with my food shop.

The selection of food is huge and caters for every dietary requirement. The majority of things are vegan but everything is well labelled with a colour code that makes reading labels so much easier. If the Planet Organic powers that be read this then a bigger variety of unpackaged fresh vegetables would be fantastic!!

Finally the hot food counter never fails to impress. There is a wide selection and a lunch-sized portion pot is just a fiver.

Strong smoothie game

Great smoothies and also ideal for picking up unpackaged fruit and veggies. Not the biggest PO, but still lots on offer. Some nice hot food on offer too and plenty of place to sit.

Organic ingredients & food

Planet Organic is a big shop with an extensive range of organic products. It does sell meat products, but it's predominantly vegan. It is expensive, but I didn't think it was any more so than the likes of Holland & Barrett. Obviously organic food is more expensive to produce and doesn't benefit from the economies of scale that you would from your average Morrisons...

On the downside the shop does sell a few bits of homeopathic nonsense (eg. a flower-based roll-on thing that claimed to beat depression...) so I'm docking a star for that.

There's a really good food counter with lots of vegan options (see photos). You can take-away or there's plenty of seating within the shop.

So all in all if organic quinoa is your thing or you fancy some fast vegan food then Planet Organic is a good option.

Planet organic isn t famous for being cheap but this shop is very expensive. Their food bar is very nice, loads of vegan options! Worth a visit (big portion is 7.99£)
For food shopping, better go across the road, you ll save yourselves heavy bucks
