Good selection of products

This is a good sized store for the area, offering lots of vegan friendly products, great drinks and pastry too.

Planet Organic is super vegan friendly

Love Planet Organic - always brilliant vegan options, both in the food counter and supermarket itself. It’s not cheap but it’s all organic and if you download the yo-yo app for payment, there are always offers.

Pros: Delicious vegan hot and cold options

Pandemic precautions not serious

The shop is excellent for vegetarian and vegan foods as well as a nice café. It falls down re the virus. The shop was crowded. It was difficult if not impossible to maintain social distancing. Many, perhaps most people weren’t wearing masks. In general I didn’t feel safe in the shop, particularly when compared to nearby Sainsbury’s.

Pros: Great selection of vegetarian and vegan foods

Cons: Too cramped to keep social distance, Many people not wearing a mask, Didn’t feel safe re virus

Buffet now very vegan friendly

I grew up in Muswell Hill and am pleased with how vegan-friendly their hot and salad buffet is now. There is a good selection and the quality is high. The coconut breakfast porridge is also delicious.

They have an extensive selection of vegan food, drink, and beauty products, as well as unpackaged grains and nuts, and cleaning supplies. There are two indoor seating areas and an outdoor one too overlooking the church. There is free wifi and a few free bathrooms. The coffee is very good and can be made with most plant-based milks (including oat milk).

It is mega expensive and part of a large chain, so if you don't like that sort of thing, don't go

Pros: Large selection, Good buffet, Wifi, toilets, free filtered fizzy and still water

Cons: Price, Not local or small business

Huge range but expensive

Enjoy shopping at Planet Organic if you have deep pockets. Lots of interesting products and very tasty freshly prepared items. BUT it is very expensive, it is not veggie/vegan, nor fairtrade.

Pros: Large range of products, Tasty fresh food

Cons: Expensive, Not veggie/vegan, Not fairtrade

Seating outside cafe-style as well.

Grocery fruit and veg; long-life ingredients (eg. different types of flours - although no Teff, unlike Earth, which stands close to Kentish Town); Nakd bars and others from different producers; some organic fish and flesh items; toiletries, including toothpaste; baby stuff, nappies, a small range of clothing for the little one(s); and lots more to characterize this pleasant store opposite the house of delusion.
Living locally I go into this place most days during the week, and although I can't compare it with Wholefoods - which I can't remember visiting in its new guise - this Planet Organic store is a real treat to patronize. The staff are friendly especially when I've occasionally wandered into the pamper section. It's not as large as the central London store but it's more navigable.
