You have to get the Aglio pizza - genuinely one of the nicest pizzas I’ve ever eaten. The dough is perfect, just the right amount of char and beautiful crust. Was a tiny bit underwhelmed by the toppings on the la Nona but still a great pizza!

I had La Gio, which is the best pizza I've tried since I became vegan. They make everything from scratch here, and that is noticeable. Everything tasted so fresh. Even the cheese they made themself from fermented coconuts. The staff were extremely friendly and nice and spoke English well.

Had the Vegancito for dessert, which was amazing. Easy to eat and tasted great. The previous desserts I've had like that has usually not managed to get the flavour and consistency right, but here it was just perfect.
Pros: Made everything from scratch, Perfect crispyness and thickness of the dough, The vegancito was amazing.

Best Pizza I've Ever Had! - Edit
Before coming to Mérida, a friend had sent me a picture, but I could not imagine how tiny the restaurant could be. But great things may come in small packages, and this restaurant is truly a gift! On entering, I was pleased to see that each of the 5 employees wore black masks to protect clientele, which I found comforting. The atmosphere in this diminutive pizzeria is lovely, and I enjoyed seeing the pair of small ovens that produce the best pizza I've ever had. The server described the Chef's Special on the menu, and I was happy to be able to add vegan "pepperoni" (more like sausage crumbles). The crust is fluffy and soft, while perfectly cooked with the right amount of char underneath. I actually felt stunned by how delicious and satisfying my approximately 12" vegan pizza was! To top that, dessert: Gancito, here "Vegancito" and carrot cake. The Vegancito is out of this world. If I lived in Mérida, this little restaurant might become something of a problem for me, because I'd want to eat there far too often.😄If you visit, this is the place I would recommend above all others. Wish I could give 6 stars!

Best Pizza EVER! - Edit
After delivery and in house dining I can easily say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The meats are made in house and are really incredible. The salad really was filling and perfect on its own. Love the chimichurri dressing. The house made tapache and kombucha was amazing as well. Oh and how could I forget about the desserts!! Highly recommend getting in the Uber and going in person.

Atmosphere very calm, relaxing, with soft easy music. Building Just the right size. The stove was very interesting as it was nothing I ever seen but accomplished the job. Great place to try. I recommend everyone to try it. We will be back

No tengo ninguna duda, ya probé todas las pizzas existentes y las de Distrito Vegano es la más deliciosa, ya probé 3 sabores y todas están increíbles. Además nadie hace pizza napolitana, y ellos no sólo la hacen sino que son los MEJORES en hacerlas. DELICIOSAS!!
