Fun Carryout Pizza Joint - Edit
In LA, I tried as many vegan things I could get my hands on. This was a cool concept in the DTLA Arts District on downtown Los Angeles. They have a great vegan menu with dairy free cheeses and vegan meat options. We tried a slice of Vegan Macaroni & Cheese and a slice of Vegan Seitan Meats Jesus. Both were great, and I loved the crust.

Perfect vegan pepperoni pizza - Edit
One of the best vegan pepperoni slices I’ve had. Wasn’t crazy about anything else on the menu but the pepperoni slice is worth a visit on its own merit. Loved the hopping vibe and friendly crew, and industrial location.

Best Pizza - Edit
The best place I go to for vegan option pizzas! The best vegan pizza to order is their Mac and Cheese, but it's only sold on Sunday's. Their vegan ranch is also one of the best I've had. My friends aren't vegan so it's nice to have non vegan options for them too.
Read morePros: Cheap (since you pay by the slice) and tasteful, Lots of vegan options , Open late

Nope, they do not value vegans - Edit
Unfortunately I can not suggest this place. They offer vegan options which I thought would be great. After waiting for 30 minutes for my vegan pizza, I was served. After taking one bite I realized this pizza was not vegan and returned it to the front. The cashier was very unapologetic and told me mistakes happen and oh well, but my pizza would be ready soon. I was so over it all at the point I just wanted a refund which the cashier could not figure out how to process. The entire experience was a waste of time and I would suggest if you are vegan or have allergies to pass on this spot.

I live the mac and cheese! - Edit
I totally recomend their mac and cheese pizza on sundays. It is amazing and the slices are huge! The other vegan pizza options would be better if they didnt use daiya. When will people realize vegans dont like daiya? We like follow your heart or chao. Also i wish their satan pieces were thinner. Other wise very good and prices are reasonable. Plus they have parking which is rare in dtla.

Overhyped - Edit
Not sure what all the rave is about, but their pizza is pretty bad and the garlic knots are just terrible. I really wanted to like this place, and I've tried it several times to see if maybe it was just a one time thing, but nope. Would only recommend if you're in a bind and they happen to be open.

Skater pizza shop in DTLA - Edit
Cool pizza shop with punk music playing. Pizza Tuesday is $2 for vegan cheese or vegan pepperoni. They sell out at the end of the day. I was accidentally served cheese which I sent back -but they fixed it by making me an entire pizza and apologizing many times, so I’m not pressed. They use daiya so you can tell if you’re being served the wrong one. New york style. Wish they used better cheese but its alright.

Tasty and staffed by skaters - Edit
The second time we went to Pizzanista, they messed up our pizza--they thought we wanted half "cheese" and half with toppings. After we explained the mix up, they made us a second pizza on the house! Every time I go in here they are friendly and pretty on the mark. I like the toppings they have available, especially the broccoli rabe, but it isn't super extensive in terms of vegan mock meats, though all the veggies are covered.
