Small town pizza lovers rejoice!

After a long day out my wife and I wanted a takeaway. I jokingly said I would check Pizza Planet to see if you could make a vegan pizza expecting to be disappointed.

The joke was on me because they were offering vegan mozzarella and jackfruit toppings. They have since introduced a vegan chick'n option. Combined with their extensive list of vegetable toppings and their almost entirely vegan range of sauces and complimentary extras, you're able to build a vegan feast, or order a vegan margherita or BBQ pulled jackfruit pizza.

We have ordered from them multiple times since realising they were vegan friendly a few months ago and have never been disappointed. Our only issue was overloading the pizzas and making ourselves feel sick!

They have introduced these toppings carefully - they wanted to make sure the toppings were suitable for freezing to keep waste down if they didn't have many vegan orders, while still widening their appeal.

You can also get a vegan Ben and Jerry's. Worth asking if they can make a cheesy garlic bread with vegan mozzarella too.
