Serves meat, vegan options available. International pizza restaurant chain founded 1965 with its first branch in London and has since grown to operate outlets across the UK and overseas. Created a separate vegan menu in 2018 offering choices including: starters like marinated olives and vegan dough balls, multiple varieties of pizzas (uses vegan cheese & faux meats), an al forno penne pasta, alcoholic drinks like cider and beer, fruit sorbet and carrot cake for dessert. Soya milk is available for coffee and tea. Outside of the UK the options may vary so check with your server. Open Mon-Wed 12:00-22:00, Thu-Fri 11:30-23:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-22:00.

A beautiful view - Edit
Pizza express always has a selection of options and it’s reasonably priced! I’ve been to this branch a few times now, every time the staff are really sweet, but I particularly go to this one for the lovely view. I got the orto calzone, and the ginger cake. The cake was amazing! I’m 100% going to be returning.

Great pizza - Edit
They had a gluten free menu upon request. The vegan pizza I had was delicious.

Not tasty - Edit
The vegan food is unimaginative and not as good as other chain restaurants near by (wagamamas, zizi, nandos).

MEH - Edit
Service is very slow on Saturdays when it’s busy. We even got our starters before we got our drinks. I had the vegan jalapeño dough balls, which was spicy and exactly what you’d expect (just bread with spicy dip), and the American Jack classic pizza which was very underwhelming, my husband apologised to me because he felt bad that my meal was so bland. It was my first time visiting any pizza express and i don’t think I’ll go out of my way to visit again

Great option by Tate Modern - Edit
This location is steps from the Globe Theater. I was pleased to see several items to choose from that were vegan. For a starter I had the Vegan Arancini. It was light- flavor was like peas with mint and a little rice. The dipping sauce was good, but they gave only a tiny bit under each piece so I would’ve liked more of it. I had the Vegan vegetable pizza. They have two on the menu but one had eggplant so I chose the other. Best Vegan pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was thin, light and chewy, not crunchy. The flavors worked well. I did not have dessert, but they had three vegan options. One was chocolate and crumble based, another was sorbet, and the third was advertised as a small portion of carrot cake.
