Vegan pizza - Edit
I tried the vegan pizza from here and was very happy with it! It came with lots of veg and onions as well as a soy cheese that was honestly pretty nice and better than I was expecting😄Overall was a fresh tasting pizza with a lovely crispy base which I enjoyed a lot.
Read moreThere was also a clearly labelled vegan pasta on the menu and probably a few other dishes you could customise as vegan. I paid €11 for a 'large' pizza or was €9.5 for a small.
I ate with my parents who are not vegan, their food was also apparently lovely so would recommend as a place for mixed diet groups.

Only vegan cheese pizza in Thassos! - Edit
I was so surprised to see a soy cheese alternative at a restaurant in Thassos as it is quite difficult describing veganism here as it simply isn't traditional culture. The pizza was so tasty I visited twice and not sure what the negative comments are for! It obviously isn't like England but again so good I visited twice. Not a very busy restaurant as at the end of the strip but doesn't get the recognition it deserves!

Fresh nice pasta but the vibe was off - Edit
Pizza Amici has some vegan options, but not a lot. We both had the vegan pasta, which was fresh made by the chef. The pasta was good, but they could’ve add more vegetables.
Read moreWe were the only guests because of the low season. I think they had some friends or family over, because they were watching sports on the tv. They did put on some music for us which was nice, but there was just no vibe. The staff was super friendly btw and they helped us quickly ofcourse.
I think this place is a lot nicer in the summer.

Worth a visit for vegans - Edit
We started and finished our holiday eating at Pizza Amici. We found the pizza to be very good and cheesy, which goes well with the 3 or 4 vegan pastas available. Well-priced comfort food.

Hit-or-Miss Pizza & Pasta, but an incredibly friendly owner. - Edit
Whilst I would recommend coming to Pizza Amici if you are staying in Limenaria, my girlfriend had very 'hit-or-miss' experiences whilst dining here. Over the course of the two weeks on the island, we visited Pizza Amici four times total for both Lunch and Dinner. Of course, it isn't typical greek food but a bowl of pasta after a day spent on the beach is always appreciated. There are more options than suggested in earlier reviews and the guys at the restaurant are happy to alter any of the pasta dishes to suit a vegan diet.
Read moreAt the restaurant, you start by choosing your pasta type (Rigatoni, Spaghetti, Penne, or Tortellini) and then you choose your sauce. We had the following four sauces; Al Olio (Olive Oil, Garlic, Chilli, Peppers, and Olives [ask for it without Parmesan]), Vegan (Fresh Tomato, Olives, Capers, Peppers, Onion, and Garlic), Arabiata (Tomato Sauce & Chillis), and Pinocio (Tomato Sauce, Mushrooms, Broccoli, and Artichokes). The Pinocio ended up being our favourite, however, the second time we ordered it, it was overcooked, underseasoned, and the pasta was falling apart in the dish.
One night we also tried the vegan pizza, but the less said about that the better. They'd be better off offering a 'Marinara' style pizza without the Vegan Cheese as the current offering is reminiscent of a cheap Asda pizza that you'd buy in the United Kingdom.
Despite all of this, the owner is a really lovely guy and generous with his drinks. It's worth the visit if you are in the mood for something other than Greek cuisine.
Pros: Incredibly Friendly Owner, Good Variety of Vegan Pasta Dishes, Generous Portion Sizes
Cons: Sometimes the Pasta will be overcooked, Vegan Pizza is not worth the money.

Vegan pizza with soy cheese - Edit
Soy cheese on a small island like Thasos is something special. Pizza is okay, but not super delicious. Vegan pasta was very good. Fried mushrooms with vegetables was also good.
Read morePros: Vegan pizza and pasta, Nice staff (speaking German)
Cons: No advertising for vegan dishes , More herbs = better taste
