One of the worst we been to, sorry - Edit
We ate there 2 times and 80% of the foods we didn’t like at all. Ether they are weird tasting, odd combinations, or too hot (chili in most dishes). Just it didn’t work at all. Got stomach pains after both times. Also the watermelon juice tasted very bad (2 seperate times), just couldnt drink it & watermelon juice is generally my favourite, then I ordered apple juice it tasted like u would drink a wall (so no taste) and it had apple skin in it a lot, ordered also some mix juice it didnt taste good ether. Ate many different foods (5 different) cuz wanted to give it a another try, only thing which was good was these ”mock meat” balls. The tastes was very weird and like it have been made by a 5 year old. Sorry to be so brutal, but it just felt very rude to even serve that kind of food to people.
Read morePros: Nice shop, Nice its vegan, Nice consept, but food has to be improved bigtime
Cons: Weird tasting food & taste combinations, Watermelon juice not sweet (2 seperate times), Food doesnt taste fresh or that its good quality

Amazing!! - Edit
Fantastic vegan food!! Some of the best food we've ever eaten (shared opinion with my omnivore husband too!!)
Read moreGreat selection of interesting dishes, all with such great mix of flavours. Came twice, so tried most things on the menu, and were impressed with them all. Breadcrumbed cauli, "beef" rendang, banana blossom curry and crispy tempe (not their exact names!) were our favourites. 4 dishes per person would be a big meal, but eat as much as you can as it's delicious and worth tasting!! But safe space for dessert - great twix, snickers and peanut butter cups, and also the raw mocha cake
And on top of all that, lovely staff, beautiful restaurant and supports charity community projects too. Cute shop on site too
Pros: Fantastic tasty food, Nice restaurant set up , Good value

A veggie haven where you get the chance to taste some real local food but without the worry of any meat. Menu suggests 3-5 dishes each but we had 4 between 2 and were quite full. Try the star dragon smoothie - its purple awesomeness.

Enjoyed the food here. Suggests getting 3-5 dishes, we got 3 each and were stuffed afterwards. 2-3 is enough. Some really interesting dishes on the menu.

Best food ever eaten! - Edit
This place was a pleasant surprise for us whilst visiting Gili T. We were on the island for 3 days, coming to Pituq each day. We tried most things on the menu and were not disappointed by 1 single thing. The vibe at the restaurant was amazing, making you want to return each day. I would recommend trying many things on the menu, you will not be disappointed.

What a gorgeous little place. Lovely and fast service and the ladies were so kind and sweet. We even made friends with a kitty. I reccomend the satay skewers and the "beef" rendang. So delicious!

Best food in Gili’s (and Indonesia!) - Edit
Found this place on my last day on Gili T and I’m so upset I wasted my time eating anywhere else 😫 really creative menu with so many delicious sounding options. I had the tempeh manis (amazing!) and beefless rendang (mock beef was a little weird and soft but sauce was lovely). I don’t think you need to order 5-6 dishes as the menu indicates as I was full from these two dishes and rice. Cheap for the quality of the food (especially for on Gili T)

Amazing food, amazing service and lovely staff. From the first moment the food touched my lips I fell in love. Right then and there I vowed to taste the whole menu (I didn't get to try 2 dishes which were starters/snacks).

Lovely place - Edit
The food here is excellent, finally indonesian food that isnt fried rice! The place is a little more upmarket than we thought and I wouldnt say its as cheap as people make out but for the quality in comparison we understand why. Its a tapas style of eating and the menu reccomends 3-5 dishes per person as each dish is very small. We are budget backpackers and were satisfied with a rice each and 3 mains to share (the curries are a bit bigger than everything else) just to get a taste of the great food. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Best place on Gili T for vegans - Edit
I walked with my huge backpack for 20 mins there and back in midday sun and it was SO worth it. Good place to sit if there’s a group of you and to share lots of dishes. The ‘beef’ randang was nuts. Tempe Terong is worth a go and I enjoyed the vanilla cake with fried banana and chocolate sauce!

A really nice and cozy Waroeng. The food is amazing and 100% Vegan. We went there a few times during our stay at Gili Trawangan and tried nearly all dishes on the menu, and all of them really were good. The interior is cozy and the staff is friendly.

Nice little place in a quieter area. Cheap food and decent selection. Prices on menu include the tax which is good. Note - the roti is garnished with coriander (and garlic).

Wonderful restaurant with many options. Be sure to try the chefs specials. Overall everything was excellent even the dragon fruit juice. Plates are tapas style so get 4-5 for 2 people
