Giovanni & Valentina and their incredible team run this beautiful plant based pizza business. Even though 2 x pizzas have cheese on them I gave it 5 ⭐️ and broke my golden rule because the back story and overall mission is amazing.
Read moreGiovanni’s mother was very sick and he wanted to do something so older people would/could eat less meat & dairy as eating this only exasperates their illnesses. His beloved brother had Down syndrome and he wanted to do something that incorporated both providing cruelty free healthy food & inclusively provided jobs for people with Down’s syndrome . The term “Pit’sa” is designed to make you think twice about meanings & preconceived ideas and not judging a book by its cover or judge people by the way they look.
What he & Velantina have done is remarkable and beautiful. The vibe is amazing and Valentina kicks ass in the kitchen. Giovanni is a brilliant front of house person and the team are so sweet one feels one is part of a small revolution of vegetables & love.
Giovanni & Valentina have a pet pig that lives a happy life with no fear of being eaten for the satisfaction of human beings. We vegans 🌱 really stand for something and seeing this lot doing their incredible thing filled my heart with ❤️🌱

I went here with my mom (pictured) and my sister who are both non-veg and they loved it!!! The staff was super friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. Try the artichoke pizza it is amazing.

With a charming terrace, English menu and friendly staff, it provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We tried 2 of the more funky pizzas, both very different in flavours but equally delicious! They also provide a small portion of tomato sauce for dipping the excess crusts, a fantastic idea! Their beer made from pizza crust leftovers was a refreshing companion to our meal. Of course we also had to taste some desserts: the homemade mintamisu and semifredo with chocolate crumble were both great. Choosing Pit'sa as our final dining destination in Bergamo turned out to be the perfect decision. It was the ideal way to end our stay!

Fritti e pizze molto buoni, personalmente sconsiglio la pizza del samurai perché è un po' povera di salmone veg. L'impasto è buonissimo, ha un cornicione ben lievitato e il locale offre un piccolo contenitore con del pomodoro per farci la scarpetta. I prezzi sono un po' altini ma è una realtà inclusiva (e con cibo di qualità) che finanzio più che volentieri.

Great pizza, lots of vegan choises - Edit
Had dinner here on holiday. West outside in the garden and ordered some snacks and pizzas. Almost everything on the menu was vegan, and the pizza dough was amazing. Some of the topping combinations seemed a bit weird, but everything tasted great! Would recommend and will visit again.

this was a really sweet little place. the menu isn’t large but it’s completely vegan other than two pizzas: the malgarita and the un vaggio dal ferdy. staff is super friendly too😄it was nice to finally have a vegan pizza in italy that doesn’t just have marinara on it! a treat for sure. the tiramisu is wonderful as well, although it’s about 90% (delicious) homemade cream and only 10% cake/cookie.

Pizze plant base buonissime, per la prima volta sono stata davvero indecisa su cosa ordinare. La filosofia di Pit’sa è l’essere inclusivi: cibo vegano servito da camerieri con sindrome di Down. Sono fiera e felice che sia stato aperto un ristorante così nella mia città.

Mi hanno salvato la serata di San Valentino avevo per errore prenotato il 15/02 e mi hanno comunque fatto sedere dandomi un servizio impeccabile... Finalmente una pizzeria vegana di una qualità altissima... Ottimo vino... E antipasti buonissimi 😍 la scelta poi di darti il pomodoro extra per fare la scarpetta con le croste, è qualcosa di unico... I dolci poi non ne parliamo BUONISSIMI... Insomma ci torneremo e porteremo anche i nostri amici ❤️

My absolute favorite find in Bergamo! - Edit
I went with the Best seller and i was definitely not disappointed. Straight up one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The staff was very kind. I love their message. Additionally their dark beer was delicious!! It's made out bread in order to reduce food waste and also to be more sustainable. I'd highly recommend checking that place out. #Veganuary
