Tastiest vegan option in the area

Pita Inn's food is always consistent and solid. I love the jerusalem style falafel sandwich, and the impossible kefta is great too when I'm craving impossible meat made well. Although Pita Inn is a meat-heavy place, I haven't found tastier vegan food in the surrounding suburbs.

Have you tried Benjyehuda? They have some locations in city and one in Schaumburg. I like Benjyehuda more bc they have clearly labeled vegan options, lots of veggies, spicy falafels, delicious hummus and baba ghanouj, and they always fry their falafels right when you order them. 🙂

My Favorite

My husband and I eat here frequently. The soup, hummus, falafels, whole wheat pita, and Impossible Kefta are delicious! The white sauce does have yogurt in it and so does the baba ganoush. The ghee in the baklava is plant based. Overall this is my favorite place to eat and 10 years ago they catered our wedding!

Pros: Friendly team, Fresh delicious food

Lots of Vegan Options

We told them we were vegan and they actually cleaned the grill to avoid cross contamination, which I wasn’t expecting. There is a lot to choose from if your vegan.

Delicious

They offer the Impossible kefta kebab as an entree or inside a pita. It is delicious and will be back. Thank you Pita Inn for this option.
