Good vegan option - Edit
Really nice to have a whole vegan menu and non-vegan options. The Mac and cheese is bad, and the lumpia crepe is strange and not very good. I tried mostly everything else on the menu and it was all great.

Good variety of dishes - Edit
Pipino's tofu sisig was quite tasty and the best dish we ordered. The mac n cheese was bland and quite a small serve too. Kare kare was okay (Cosmic's is hard to beat).

Great vegan varieties of Filipino dishes - Edit
Great restaurant for vegans/vegetarians to try good Filipino cuisine. Nice creative selection. We really liked the Tofu Sisig. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The space is shared with the non-vegan version (Pino, I think), but the menus are separate.

Nice atmosphere and good food - Edit
We went to Pipino as one of the closest vegan option to PSA main office on a long day of doing paperwork and were pleasently surprised by the atmosphere that awaited us. The place is something you'd take your parents or date to. The food itself was good, though a little bland and not extremely filling. Prices were, I suppose, ok for the atmosphere.
Read moreThe restaurant is sharing the location with a non-vegan restaurant, which could be a bit of a put-off for some. Place was empty wheb we've been there though, so we didn't mind.
Pros: Nice and comfy atmosphere, Decent food, Cleanliness

Ordered Buffalo cauliflower wings and their garlic noodles via Grab. Pretty good, but also not worth 297 php each. Have yet to try their other menu options.

Tasty and stylish - Edit
Probably the vegan restaurant where I would take my non-vegan family and friends. Nicely furnished restaurant with fusion Filipino dishes. It appears they have a non-vegan menu as well.
Read moreI had the tofu bistek which had the characteristic caramelised onion flavour of the conventional version and it was satisfying - like the bistek (beef steak) flavour I know. The sampaloc juice is also unique and nice and not too sweet.
Reservations needed during peak times - I was able to get a seat as outside seats were available.

Easiest place to eat out with non veg - Edit
We've eaten here twice with our non veg family. It's convenient here because we have a lot of vegan options unlike regular restaurants where we're stuck with 1 or 2 options. The favorite of ours is the cauliflower wings. Well seasoned, really crispy batter, and a great appetizer, unlike most of the others we've tried. The salpicao was good but can get tiring to eat without other dishes to change the flavor. The tocilog, we didn't really like. The mock meat used wasn't too good and had a gritty texture. We've also tried the callos, which wasn't too impressive. But the teriyaki tofu is really good.

Best vegan dining experience in QC! Since most vegan restos are in Makati/South. Pipino serves delicious veganized Filipino food! Ambiance of the resto is great too and staffs are friendly

Beautiful Place - Edit
I love the interiors here, and I also love the food. They have some really unique takes on dishes that would otherwise be quite plain if they didn't add their extra twists.

On the fence - Edit
The first time I went the food was really good, but the second time the food was just ok. We ordered the flan both times and the second time it seemed different too.
Read moreMy biggest issue with the place is the service. Nobody waits on you, if you need anything you have go walk over to them and try and get their attention every time to order / ask for water/ ask for silver wear. And the food takes forever and nothing comes out at the same time half the table will get their mains while appetizers and drinks still haven't come out when you've already been waiting 30 mins.
Pros: 1st visit food was good
Cons: Wait time, Service, Food just Ok

Truly delicious - Edit
I ate at Pipino less than 2 weeks ago with my omnivore girlfriend and we both absolutely loved the food! We ordered Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, Tofu Sisig and Tortang Talong w Cauliflower Rice. Tortang Talong was my favorite, can't wait to go back and have it again when in Quezon City. I personally didn't like Tofu Sisig, but then again my filipina girlfriend loved it, i really liked the nori chicharron that came with the sisig though.

You never know - Edit
I've been here twice and I have completely different impressions. First time the food was amazing, especially Malunggay pesto pasta. Second time I've got grilled portobello that had very strong chemical taste. The waiter took it back and I ordered lasagna instead which was the worst lasagna ever. I don't know what's going on in their kitchen but I don't want to be a part of experiment.

Food is okay - Edit
We went here last year and I found the food just okay, nothing remarkable. But my favorite was definitely the lumpia trio! We also had the karekare, which was just made simply. We also bought cookies but they were too hard and dry.

Lovely place! - Edit
I got the Vegan Lasagna which I found nothing too impressive but nothing to scoff at at the same time. It wasn't quite filling either. However, my friend got the Portobello Burger which he claimed was really really really good. This coming from a non-vegan/vegetarian. Needless to say, he was very impressed! I look forward to my next visit to try other items on the menu!

worth trying I guess - Edit
Restaurant set up was great the choices were quite diverse and this is yet the first restaurant that we've been thorugh that offers purely vegetables in their menu. Most dishes were made from vegetables and only a few are infused with veggie meat. Desserts were also available( dairy free and egg-free) but I was not able to try it. Their desserts look tasty though. In terms of the food, I find their dishes a bit pricey. I mean I understand that they are made especially for vegetarians but the price does not meet the taste, well at least in my taste bud's opinion. Give it a try, maybe you'll find the tastiness fair for the price.

The first all-vegan restaurant in the Metro - Edit
Pipino is the first all-vegan restaurant in Metro Manila. They offer plenty of innovative dishes and baked goods. Their menu changed slightly over the years, creating more dishes with a twist. They could improve on their mac n' cheese and lasagna (which is sweet - they probably use sweet soy milk in the cheese sauce) and remove the watermelon steak from the menu (perhaps reintroduce watermelon as a drink or dessert instead of a main)

Pinoy Vegan!!! - Edit
In my recent visit to the Philippines in December 2014, I was shocked at how many Filipino restaurants had popped up since my last visit five years ago. My very carnivorous cousins brought us to Pipino as the first stop. It was very good, but I think it may have been the priciest of the three restaurants I was able to visit. It was basically counter service. The food was very interesting. They had these veggie triangles that my cousins loved. I really enjoyed the vegan kare kare. There was also a vegan chicken and rice dish that was very good.
Read moreThey also served vegan bagoong, taro chips (yum!), vegan ice cream, and vegan chocolate cake, which was really, really good!
