Gluten free vegan pizza = win! - Edit
Never had broccoli rabe nor grilled aubergine on pizza before; ordered it last night with some extra vegan cheese... very crispy crust, tasty, and most importantly, played within my figurative wheelhouse; gluten free vegan since it's hard to find a pizza takeaway restaurant that can do both.

Excellent pizza, good value - Edit
Since Pioneers Pizza is far from our house, we haven't bought from them often. But today we had an errand in that direction, so we took advantage to swing by for a pie to go, for dinner. We had tried places closer to home, but to no avail - one place in particular seemed to limit the toppings to one speck of each topping on the pie! (I exaggerate...but not by much!) Pioneers, on the other hand, distributed plenty of each topping all around the pie. To me, especially compared to the other place I mentioned, this made Pioneers a notably good value. Everything was fresh and tasty, thoroughly enjoyable. The only drawback is the difficulty parking there during busy times, but we found a spot the second time through. Worth a little inconvenience!

Visiting from London - fab pizza, shared an XL between two of us and it was more than enough. Vegan cheese options and special vegan sauce. BEWARE - meat is marinated in their marinara sauce, so is NOT vegan, so you have to specify the vegan sauce. This sauce is currently used in their vegetarian pizza (yikes) but hopefully they will change that as we did bring it up with them. MUST GO!

Great Vegan Pizza - Edit
Just had a personal pizza with Daiya cheese and unlimited toppings ( I chose mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, spinach), and it was delicious ! Very generous on the Daiya cheese unlike some other pizza places I’ve been too! The gal at the front asked if I would like the vegan pizza sauce as well, so I guess they must have two sauces. Be sure to ask for the vegan pizza sauce :)

What a great new find! The place was crazy busy, and a pretty hefty wait time, but worth every minute. All their crusts are vegan, and they even have a 'sweet vegan' pizza on their menu. You can create your own and have it in a 12" personal size if you're dining with a group of carnivores lol! I had the sweet vegan on the menu and it was delicious. We will be loyal customers from here on out. Super thankful for such a great option so close to home ♡

A comfortable place with cozy seating. They offer a vegan pizza with Vegan cheese. Also with an authentic NY crust! The excellent food and service brought a little piece of B'klyn to this homesick wanderer.

So glad we found this place! It has recently doubled in size ... good thing. We were there at 8 On a Friday night and it was packed. But well worth the wait. Vegan pizza with vegan sauce and cheese and vegan breadsticks as a free appetizer. Awesome. We both got the $10 personal pie with unlimited toppings.

I found this gem the other day. I prefer to eat only plant based and my family does not. This place offers an excellent vegan option with vegan cheese. It was not daiya but another brand and the pizza was fantastic. Good for the owners in having a vegan option in Port Charolette!! The pizza was great (I even had broccoli tab and eggplant on my pizza).

This place wins the prize for THE best vegan pizza ever! The owners are both vegetarians. Every ingredient is fresh and chosen carefully. They pay for a special water filtration system, use extra virgin olive oil and tomatoes from Italy that they crush themselves. Produce is delivered fresh daily from local farms and washed by hand. You can tell when you taste this food that extreme care was taken. No processed food here! Amazing! They also have paninis and we were served vegan bread sticks when we sat down! Just say you are vegan at the beginning so no Parmesan is added.

I have only been to Pioneers twice, but both times I have had the half veggie panini/ half salad lunch special for $8.99. The veggie consists of broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, portobellos, eggplant and they substitute the homemade mozzarella for their yummy vegan cheese. They are always very accommodating to my vegan-ism and bake the panini without butter and parmesan sprinkled on top. I have also been informed the oil and vinegar are the only vegan dressing for the salad, You have the option of building your own pizza with the vegan cheese as well. It's definitely nice to have an option for pizza close to home!!
