Wonderful restaurant

Beautiful new restaurant with lots of vegan dishes and drinks to choose from. Delicious food and desserts, all with beautiful presentation and a great attention to detail. It’s always exciting to find somewhere that provides innovative and imaginative vegan options. It would be a great choice for both vegans and non-vegans, as there are plenty of tasty options! Couldn’t recommend enough!

The staff were very friendly and helpful too! Overall a wonderful experience😄

Pros: Great selection of plant-based/vegan options , Very friendly staff and great service

Best vegan food ever

Set on the first floor in one of Chester's famous medieval Rows, the exterior is quirky but charming with some outside covered seating. Inside is crisp and immaculately detailed. Staff were very welcoming and friendly: happy to find time to chat, creating a lovely casual, relaxed atmosphere.
The food was presented in fine-dining style but without the pompousness. And glorious food it was too. Imaginative combinations of flavour, texture and colour to please the senses. Takes vegan food to another level: innovative without being pretentious or different for the sake of it. Deeply satisfying. Spinach soup, roast chickpeas on sweet potato boats and ice-cream selection with fresh fruit. May not sound exciting but the experience was memorable. My partner had the same except sticky toffee pudding: judged the best ever!. Our fellow diners were just as enthusiastic about their meal. This new enterprise is of such high quality in every way I can't recommend it highly enough: it has to succeed.

Pros: Exquisite surroundings with friendly atmosphere, Beautifully presented food, Outstanding flavour, texture and colour

Cons: Nothing

WOW! 😍

We went to Pink Lettuce last weekend and we were so impressed!! We chose to visit as the lovely owner Cindy is making our wedding cake for us (which is how we found out about it)

The menu was so good - it was hard to choose what we wanted! In the end we went for the Mixed Grill and
Tofish and Chips - both were incredible and the presentation was exquisite. This is definitely a great place to go for a special occasion. For dessert we had the chocolate brownie and the spirulina cheesecake - both looked and tasted amazing. We were also made so welcome by the lovely man who was serving us, who showed a genuine interest in chatting with us and asking about our day.

We just had a lovely afternoon and thought it is one of the nicest vegan restaurants we’ve ever visited in the UK. Very impressed! The food is more on the expensive side - HOWEVER - when you see the high quality ingredients and attention to detail that is put into the dishes, it’s completely worth it!

Pros: Beautiful presentation of the food, Varied menu and delicious, Friendly staff

This is so wonderful. Just go

I loved this restaurant. The cooking is so assured and beautiful and imaginative. I had to have three courses because the food was so wonderful! Great service too - friendly and attentive and professional. I had the creamy spinach soup, the sweet potato and chickpea boats and then sticky toffee pudding with icecream.
Everything was carefully thought out including the statement plates and bowls. Go for an occasion if you want, but just go. You don't need to dress up unless you want to.
Go if you're not a vegan - tantalise your taste buds with something totally different.
Just go - you won't regret it. Sadly we live in Exeter not Chester, so not sure when I will next get there. Oneof those meals we will go on talking about for a long time.

Pros: imaginative food, entirely vegan, great staff

Excellent.

Fully vegan menu. The food was excellent. Slightly on the higher end on price and that is reflected in the food and presentation. Highly recommend. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant is on the rows, not street level. There coffee was exceptional.

Pros: fully vegan

Cons: Not sure how accesible it is to get on the rows

A little gem that should not be passed by

Visited with my husband and son, each of us had a different item from the ingenious menu and were all amazed by tastes and presentation.
They have only been open for two weeks but I couldn’t fault the service or food.
Slightly hard to find as it’s in the first floor of the east row and currently no sign - but worth seeking it out.
Menu options - totally vegan. varied so something for every taste. We had mushroom soup, garlic bread sharer, mixed grill, sweet potato and chickpea boats, pan fried tofu salmon. Strawberry soup.
Presentation - the room, atmosphere and food all presented with style. It was the little touches such as the edible flowers that just made it feel special..
Staff - friendly and attentive.
I hope this little place manages to stay the distance in an area with its fair share of vegan restaurants.
Highly recommend a visit.

Pros: Interesting menu, Relaxed atmosphere

Cons: Hard to find as no sign outside
