Just okay Sichuan options - Edit
Food was okay but the Sichuan options didn’t really have any Sichuan taste at all, definitely go for more classic Taiwanese options if you eat here.

Great spot. - Edit
This was my first time eating Taiwanese food and it didn’t disappoint. I was really hungry and ordered hastily w out really reading the menu item descriptions and it worked out this time around. Turns out the peanut salad wasn’t a salad w leaves and the like. The mapu tofu was excellent and I’ll be back here often.

Excellent - Edit
Would give five stars if I could. Really excellent Taiwanese food, and the vegan options are clearly labelled.

Simply the best - Edit
The only reason we can’t rate this 5 stars is because it’s not fully vegan, but the vegan options are to die for. One of our favorite restaurants in LA hands down!

Taiwanese Favorite - Edit
OKAY! One of my favorite restaurants in Silverlake! Has several clearly-marked vegan options - my favorites are the Mapo Tofu, Dan Dan Noodles (SO GOOD!) and cucumber salad. Three cup mushroom and potstickers are also good.
Read moreThis place gets really busy and does not take reservations, so it might be a good idea to call ahead to order food. However if it’s not too crowded it’s pretty pleasant to sit on the sidewalk and sip a beer while you’re waiting for your food. Their sister restaurant Joy in Highland Park has a very similar menu, and is also amazing.
Pros: DELICIOUS, SO GOOD, EAT HERE I’LL

Go to takeout spot during Covid - Edit
Order the scallion pancakes, bok choy potstickers, and dan dan noodles. And the chrysanthemum leaves before they sell out!

So damn good. - Edit
The potstickers at Pine and Crane are a work of art. All of their other vegan options are also really delicious and filling. This is one of my favorite places to order for when I’m going on a picnic, and it’s such a treat. I also highly recommend the taro milk tea (with non-diary milk).

Must go spot in LA - Edit
This cute Taiwanese restaurant is located in a great spot in Silver Lake. Right next door is a nice market and there are lots of nice coffee shops, but Pine and Crane is the best spot on this street. Pine and Crane is not 100% vegan but they have many good options. The prices and very good and all the food is cooked with lots of love. I would recommend there Dan Dan noodles and bubble tea made vegan!
