Wonderful Creative Vegan Gem - Edit
Awesome little quirky place nestled in the heart of Holly Springs, of all places. The chef is exceptionally creative with regards to using local produce in season and offering a wide variety of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.
Read moreThe presentation and flavor profiles of all the dishes I had were spot on. I tried the Turtle Bean soup, GF Vegan scone with flavored house made vegan cinnamon brown butter, Summer Vegetable Curry and the special Raspberry Brownie with vegan whipped cream and caramel sauce. For the love of all that is holy, this is one of the best meals I've had out in a LONG time! So good!
The service from our server and everyone bringing drinks and food was also wonderful. Very friendly and inviting and extremely knowledgeable.
The atmosphere is certainly a bit interesting to say the least. But, it's not boring!
If you haven't checked this place out, it's a must in my book!
Pros: Vegan options, Gluten free options, Ingredients used

Reliable, cute lil spot - Edit
Love that this tiny gem always has one of their three entrees vegan, and the menu changes constantly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Edit
Update: We’ve visited for dinner twice and have not been let down yet. Be sure to ask about the dessert menu.
Read moreWe visited during an odd time between lunch and dinner menus so we just sampled a few appetizers and had a cocktail. We had the vegan scones with several vegan butters (the cinnamon one was best), a cup of soup that was very good, and a shortbread with jam. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and could see myself returning to try the dinner menu. The menu rotates also so it’s nice to have that variety.
Updated to add: I caution against getting the herbivore salad. It has green peas that were still partially frozen when I ordered it, and overall was just a really weird, sad little iceberg lettuce salad. I probably should’ve known better from the description but I was just really craving some “fresh” veggies.

Wish I could give 5 stars! - Edit
The many changes weekly here, but there is always guaranteed to be a vegan option! The vegan scone is wonderful, the vegan butters are lovely, and I’ve never had a bad vegan brunch, lunch, or dinner from here!

Lovely tea house w/ many vegan options - Edit
Very nice atmosphere, kind staff with many vegan options. They have live music on Saturday evenings. It get very busy during brunch times, but is worth the wait. The tea menu is huge, and you get a very large jug of tea😄

Charming setting for tea and light bites - Edit
Had a wonderful experience at Pimiento Tea Room! It is in a historic home which has been beautifully (and colorfully) restored. We went on a Saturday evening and enjoyed the live jazz and hot toddies with delicious vegan apple butter shortbread bars. Though we just went for drinks and dessert, we saw that the menu is mostly vegetarian with many clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options. The fare is light and includes things like soup, salad, sandwiches, and snacks. I was happy to see that they also have a vegan scone and a dessert option for vegans as well. The service was great, with staff coming by regularly to refill water and see if we needed anything. It was cold when we went, but there is also a nice porch with tables to enjoy their offerings outside in warmer weather. Beer was available and reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be going back!
